What Not To Wear (while riding)

This guy isn't the smartest.... But you KNOW he thinks he is as bad as they come. :shakehead::shakehead::shakehead::shakehead:

So, uh, how'd you break your leg?

Do jeans really just disintigrate like that? I wear, Helmet, Jacket, gloves, boots, and jeans.

Yes, jeans suck as protective wear. They provide no impact protection, and very light abrasion resistance. They're better than shorts, but nowhere near as good as textile or leather riding pants. I consider it some kind of cultural oddity that jeans have been the "standard" riding pants of motorcyclists. Basically, you should wear jeans if you know for a fact you will never, ever crash, or you don't mind road rash and bloody, banged up knees that require stitches.

Sorry if that sounded harsh, but jeans do suck for motorcycling.

That's I wanted to see when I clicked on this thread.

Damn those sexy Europeans...

Russians, mate ;) her name is Emma :P

But yeah, she's a squid. And thinking about riding a bike back in Russia... I would never do that, well except for dirt bike (lots of trails!!!). Riding on a road is crazy, I'd stick to the cage.
