what update would you like? I haven't actually owned the fz6r for several years now. Sold it to another guy who ended up being killed in a boating accident. Not really sure what happened to the motorcycle. If anyone has questions i'd be glad to answer them through my email...
Brake cleaner works amazing to put grips on. The cleaner lubes its while installing, drys within 30 seconds, also it sticks much better than hair spray. I've have grips installed with brake clean and used my canyon dancer for probably 2500 miles of trailering. Grips are still holding strong.

lowering just the front will make the bike turn faster, but also be less stable going straight. I have my race bike lowered 11mm in the front to get it to turn quicker, I had to turn up my steering stabilizer to keep the shakes down at high speed though.
mine is currently $16/mo for liability + uninsured motorist coverage. If I got rid of the UMC it would be $5/mo for liability.

alot of you know this bike and the amount of work into it. its quite the deal considering the parts and labor...
man, i rallied the crap outta mine after the first 100 miles. Ride it like you stole it. Breakin periods are up to much debate. I go by the ride it in the first miles the way you'll ride it for the life of the bike rule. Never had a problem yet.
just a heads up for others on the fence. I ordered two ddm kits for my 08 yukon. Showed up in less than a week. Came with everything I needed to install them. I've installed a LOT of hid kits in other peoples cars, its one thing I do at work. Anyway, great solid kit, fantastic output...
i have no speedhump on the street, and I have one on the track.. no reason to have it on the street, you don't go fast enough to even benefit from it. And you look pretty ridiculous when its not a 1pc suit.
