I'm seriously struggling to find a nice front sprocket for the XJ6N (FZ6R same bike).
I've found this:
That is the XJ6 sizes.
So could I buy a Renthal sprocket to fit an R6 and it'd fit the XJ6?
**EDIT**
It appears that it does.
Here is the R6 page...
Basically I need a front sprocket from Driven in the US.
Driven 2009-2014 Yamaha FZ6R 520 Front Sprocket
However - the shipping costs are almost $50 (on a $35 sprocket).
I already have a chain, and rear sprocket from the UK.
Would anybody be interested in a group buy from Driven (US)...
Ordering new chain and sprockets (keeping the stock ratio) and I can't find a front sprocket made by renthal...only rear.
What sprocket do you guys usually go with? Renthal are drilled so lighter and they look cool haha
Hey guys
Looking to replace both sprockets and chain in the coming months.
Hoping to go Renthal sprockets, and an EK chain.
Now, I want to keep the front sprocket standard (no problem, I've found one)...but I want to go 3 teeth bigger on the rear.
2/3/4 teeth bigger...No less than 2...

Thinking of changing to an MT-03 headlight if I eventually get R6 forks and front wheel on my bike.
Has anybody tried an MT03 headlight? I hope it is just plug & play, but will have to wait and see.
So the good news is I might have an EU headlight to sell soon for any of you guys doing the...
So in this photo you can see the green arrows pointing from where the bars currently sit - to where I'd like them.
Pretty much an inch lower, and an inch closer to the tank.
Any recommendations? Right now I think the bars are just too high and too far away from the seat.

I recently went to take a look around the local Yamaha showroom, and noticed a new update that has been added to the UK XJ6N/XJ6 Diversion (US FZ6R).
Basically, the rear sets of our bikes are badly protected, and can wear down easily. The 2012 onward bikes have new protectors which can be...

Anyway - the purpose of this thread.
I live in the UK, so we have a naked FZ6R (XJ6N) available to purchase from the word go. I bought one, so here it is.

Okay I want to replace the front brake lever/master cylinder/reservoir with one like this, from an R6:
That is just an example.
Has anybody done this?
I think the pot looks much better than the current reservoir we have which is just a black box.
Issues I face:
The outlet for...
Alright so I've ran a few searches on multiple sites, and I can't find anybody who has successfully put an R6 front on an FZ6R.
So, here are my questions. I'm gonna go ahead and predict this thread will be stickied in the coming months - because I'm going to do everything possible to make this...
Real life gameplay feel that drama yamaha xj6 custom exaust - YouTube
He rides like an idiot but that is beside the point!
What mirrors and exhaust does he have? I've tried to find them for hours now.
Okay so I know the standard size on the XJ6 is 160/60/17 (I assume FZ6r is exactly the same).
A friend has some part-worn tires that are 180/60/17...
Obviously this is not the standard size, and isn't ideally fitted...but have you any experience? Would it be safe?
Right, I'm tired of the HORRIBLE gear changes on this bike and I need to do something about it.
I dunno what it is, but I've rode plenty of friends bikes and they all shift really smooth...
The XJ6 (UK name) is SO CLUNKY...It feels like all the gears are not even bolted in...and you have...
Smashing a hole in the exhaust...
There was a video on youtube a while back where a guy literally smashed a hole in his exhaust to make it soundbetter.
He stuffed a long screwdriver down there and just smashed about...
I'm wondering if anybody else has seen this video? I can't find it...
The bike is a 2010 XJ6N, but I believe that is simply the UK equivalent of the FZ6R.
I've searched and read through a few threads but not found the best solution to this exact problem yet.
So I over-tightened the drain bolt and the thread has ripped out of the sump. The bolt is perfectly fine...
