IDK, I live in florida where there very few roads that have turns and none of them compare to anything close to a "twisty" as most northerners know them to be and I had my tire within 1.5-2 inches of the side lip within the first 200 miles. It would have been in the first 100 miles but I had to ride 100 miles of interstate to get home after buying the bike, in the damn rain.... LOL.Haha. That just means there's more left turns in my town than right turns. Actually, in thinking about my routes, there's not one straight road except the freeway and most of the turns are lefties, so maybe I can partially claim those chicken strips. Lol
There are a some nice twisties about an hour to the east or west. Tehachapi surrounding mountains have some nice twistiesYou're up in Bakersfield, how are the Tehachapi's any good rides up there?

My PR3 and PR4 never get past about 3/4"... when I had the Pirelli Angel ST, they went down to a 1/4" fast.... think it's just the curve profile, some tires tip over quicker... I'm definitely not a fast rider, nor do I push my bike, but those Pirelli's just seemed to tip over with easedar they go, that's my old tire, battleax's, the Q3's are proving harder to get to the same point so far, don't really understand why lol.
Definitely true, I hear that about some of the tires out there. Overall I'm not sure if I prefer the battleax's or the Q3's, both great tires. I will probably go back next time around if I still have this bike lol.My PR3 and PR4 never get past about 3/4"... when I had the Pirelli Angel ST, they went down to a 1/4" fast.... think it's just the curve profile, some tires tip over quicker...
