The closest I've gotten to the edge is just where the little Dunlop logo is on the Q2's. but that was last season. lol. This season my skills seemed to have gone backwards. lol. x.X

I was simply attempting to get more miles out of my tires by strictly riding them at an extreme lean lmfao
I like your way of thinking...

I already have 3k miles on my tires and I'm not liking that flatness to my rear tire.... One of the things that my area of Florida lacks is good riding roads that are curved in any form or fashion...

Not good for a biker.

Yesterday I realized that you could ride a bike for decades in the city and still be a noob at cornering just one of those things

Very true JT. There's very different techniques involved in high speed cornering, mid-speed cornering, and slow speed cornering. Add pedestrians, dogs, cars, bicycles, and soccer moms into that mix and it's a cluster ****. It's no wonder why so many bikers ride so aggressively around town. It's survival!

That said, I'm the first to admit that although I've logged over 15K+ miles now after 3 years, I still sometimes get nervous when I'm forced to do a tight u-turn anywhere- esp when there's are lotta traffic or if there's any steep inclines involved. But, put me up in the twisties, and I feel elated & right at home. Go figure. :)

lol I've been riding 3 years and mine still look like that. >.<
lol your on q2s though, completely different and handles WAY more lean. your strips are about the same as mine, which is enough to get your knee down by the way;)

Here's mine. The left is skinnier than the right, but I'm not sure those are my doing. I let my son ride it to his girlfriend's house last week because the rear tire on his GSXR 750 needed to be replaced.

So I don't think I can legitimately claim them, although I know I'm turning a lot better the more I ride.

That's a crazy big difference there... I don't think I've ever seen that bike of a difference on wear like that.

Mine are pretty well to the edge, about maybe 1 inch from the lip on each side, my rocks haven't swollen enough for me to try to go further than that.

Haha. That just means there's more left turns in my town than right turns. Actually, in thinking about my routes, there's not one straight road except the freeway and most of the turns are lefties, so maybe I can partially claim those chicken strips. Lol
