I've got a guardian bell on my bike. Guardian® Bell manufacturers of the Guardian® Bell, made in the USA First thing that got put on it the day I brought it home. My Dad picked it up for me. He told me I'm not to ever ride without it. More of a Harley guy thing. But pretty cool. Actually can get a little emotional when someone gives you one. Shows they truly care.

I thought that looked like a bell...so when you ride:: "Everytime a bell rings,an Angel gets his wings"!!! (From,, It's a Wonderful Life,,,a old movie)

not to make light of the guard bell thingies. but, i'm not superstitious at all. so, to me, they are about as believable as those infomercials selling metal bracelets that give u superpowers... <lol> americans can be so gullible...

I'm not superstitious/religious in the slightest little bit. Quite the opposite. (That's a can of worms I really will not get into) It's more of a symbolic brotherhood thing than anything else. My dad tried for years to get me into motorcycles and I was scared to death. But once I got over that and learned to ride, he was very proud. And as much as we ride differently (Slow ass Harley cruiser vs. riding fairly spirited in the twisties) he's usually pretty quick to brag to people we know about how good of a rider I've turned into in a relatively short period of time.

Realize that none of the plastics, mirrors, headlight, windscreen or brake fluid reservoir were touched in the low slide. All this was destroyed by the tow truck driver wrapping a chain around the front rim and dragging the bike across the dirt into the roadway and onto the flatbed. $250.00 in parts to make it like new and he did $9,800.00 damage to it.....that suks.....I should have made the CHP call AAA and not the Long Beach City Tow.....

I do scrape lol. I've replaced the toe sliders on my boots once already and they're getting close again. That's why I ordered the MFW Offset Pegs. Haven't had trouble with the toes scraping since. I took the feelers off the pegs a long time ago because they hit way too often.
