Yup, I found the mirrors I want. The pictures of the clearance from the handlebars to the mirrors sold me.

Thanks BondGirl for all the help.

Very nice, I think I finally found the mirrors I am going to use. Any other tips you can give with the install. I am ordering my mirrors right now.

hm this mod is easy. like reeeeealy easy.
1- removed the black plastics around cluster and covering the mirror nuts
2- remove nuts with 10mm ratchet
3-remove mirro from the bike and remove the rubber thingy.

4-install the rubber thing on you new ZX mirrors.
5- THE HARDEST PART. carefully make sure the rubber thingy goes between fairing and mirror all around. Otherwise scratch can occur. OR rubber may lift a little at highway speed.
6-put nut on the rear screw do not tight yet.
7-press the mirror hard to fit the second nut.
8- tight both nut/

locktite can be used but not necessary.
put back the plastic covers.
Grab a beer and show off hehehe

if i wasnt such a fan of my bar end mirror i would go this route... nice job, looks great.

thank u so much for posting about this mod. i just ordered the same mirror. I think it really makes the bike look alot better. i'm working on some mods now too. i'll post pics when i'm done.

Wow thanks bondgirl.... Pix n mirrors look great!!

:)

Not matter what mirror you use...MSF still states to look over your sholder to check your blind spots:thumbup:

Happened to notice you have aftermarket foot pegs. I really like the look and angle of those. What brand are they?

which side haha
right side ( silver peg) is R6R 2006-2007 with some minor mods
Left side ( black) is Kawi ZX6 2007-2008 pegs. required grinding and mod as well.

they are not so good. They are not bad but I am still looking for something better!!!

tools needed?

Bondgirl,

Thanks soooo much for sharing! I actually got my mirrors today, and am about to attempt my first mod on my own.

Does the 10mm ratchet come in the toolkit by any chance? Are there any other tools needed outside of what comes with the bike?

Thanks!
