Hello guys, this is my first post on this forum. I just got a 2009 fz6r in blue. My main concern for now is that the steering bars are hitting the gas tank when turned all the way, how do i fix it?

I just filled her up so we will see but it seems to me since I did the exhaust mod/ cut off stock outlet and weld in 2 1/4 pipe my gas mileage has dropped like a stone!!!!! anyone else have this or know about it?? By opening exhaust does it allow for more burning or what? How many miles...

Just found that the rubber gasket under the gas tank cap is tore some. I don't need the whole gas cap assembly and I can't find where to buy just the gasket. If anyone has a spare please let me know or point me to where I can buy just the rubber gasket.

Don't know if this had anything at all to do with my bikes problems, but I bought a billet gas cap from a company called gascapdude. Nice looking cap, only around $40 and says it's vented. The vent doesn't work worth a $h1t on the FZ6R. When my bike died I started to open my gas cap and it was...

The side panels on the gas tank. How are they removed?

Gas tank side panels? Broke one of the gas tank side panels was wondering if the tank would look goofy with out them but I found a almost new pair on ebay for $39.00 so thanks and never mind. this thread can be deleted sorry for the trouble.

so I'm a fool, i was working on my bike to get it back on the road, i have to replace my right rotor and all of my pads.... well i was missing some tools a needed so a mechanic buddy of mine was on his way to help and bring those tools. i decided it would be a good idea to install my juice box...

Has anyone ever upgraded to the Vortex or Driven gas caps? I want to upgrade to the Driven, but wondering if I can then cap off the fuel vent line under the tank. The Driven cap has a built in vent. I'd imagine that I'd have to leave the overflow tube, but can't find a definitive answer out...

What type of gas do you run threw your bike? I run mid grade no ethanol. Just curious if the bike runs better on a different type on gas or not. thanks

Have any of you guys added an auxiliary fuel tank to the bike? For use on longer rides and such?

*wisdom* i was talking to a harley guy just now and he said he wont buy gas at our local gas station b/c it only has one hose and he uses premium. he said by the time he gets premium into the hose, he doesnt need much more. (makes sense). he went on to say that he can tell a difference...
