    Periodic maintenance

This reminds me that i need to do the coolant, break pads + fresh fluid and an oil change. Ohhhh the fun.... Wrenching on all the cars + bike has gotten a bit more tedious over the years....

    Update

Squidly burnout brah. Thats something id expect in a GSXR forum.... Interesting wrap color choice. I agree with the previous comments about the uber sticker amount on the screen, but to each his own. Have fun, be safe, RUBBER SIDE DOWN.

    2011 Copper FZ6R (SoCal) $3000

2011 Copper FZ6R (SoCal) $2800 Hey Guys, Ive decided to sell my 2011 Copper FZ6R. Its been a great adventure, but i've got a baby girl now and just have 0 time to ride. I've also moved closer to work so I spend no time on the freeway commuting anymore. Looking forward to retaining a little...

    Shifting Troubles

both sound like a step in the right direction. Synthetic deff seems to make shifting buttery smooth. Adjust the shift lever a bit also. maybe you just aren't getting enough leverage on it in its current position.

ran great when parked it now that same evening will not hit a lick.

The fact that OP dumped it a month earlier might have something to do with his intermittent failure. DEALER TIME, or get a service manual and find the CPS, measure its output and eliminate it as a variable. My bike does this sometimes when still warm, but a quick throttle twist while...

    Rear wheel doesn't spin freely

What type of rear stand are you using? If using a swing arm stand, sometimes the blocks that push up on the swing arm might be adjust too far in and could be rubbing on the sprocket bolts or something else. Do you hear an audible click or noise aside from normal pad on rotor as it rotates and...

Bad News, I'm having to sell.

GLWS. Mods will move it. Kinda hard to "sell" something without a price. I think the TOS for the for sale forum requires a price.

Help Please: New bike, Water in the oil.

The guy just said the dealer is putting new oil/oil filter. What else is there to do ? Ride it and check it again in a few hundred miles. Or check the oil level daily if you are that freaked about it. It has warranty. If it dies its on them.

    Throttle Signal Position

Its nothing too complicated. Hes just talking about writing some basic software and compiling it for your own IC to basically perform or store a look up table. There are just multiple types of calculations and types of math you can use depending upon the application. It would make more sense...

What did you do to your bike today?

Ive got a buddy here at work with the 1199 Penegale. Friggin sweet ride, but ludicrous $$ wise. $22K US MSRP is just stuuuupid.

    27k miles, loose timing chain

Yes, valves stretch over time requiring adjustment. Yes, the seats these days are made out of harder material than the valve, which means the valve stretches instead of the valve seats wearing. It has everything to do with the multiple heating and cooling cycles seen during normal operation...
