It's a Cee Bailey's (the tallest one they make for our bike). A few others on the forum have tried it and not all like it as much as I do, but everyone has different tastes.

Those are nice bags. What brand are they? Yes, I have a tank bag. I've been using the tank bag as a place to rest while I go down the road.
eBay My World - tmshelmet
Here's the link for my saddlebags. $55.00 right now... buy 2 sets and change them.... I think I'm going to order a new set
That link seems to be the seller. This one looks like the bags though. A friend had a set of Cortech soft bags on his bike and found that they shifted around a bit, and scratched up the paint. Did you have this problem?
Thanks
Here's how my bags are mounted. I pretty much drill a hole thru the bags and put a bolt with 2 big washers. We made 800 miles trip and the bags were solid... no moving around.
That's pretty awesome! Thanks for the tip. I'm going to do the same with mine. That's why I love this forum.
Thanks Marthy.

Welcome Mate. Lowes got those nice plastic knobs kind of wing nut looking...
I'm up in the air on a coast-coast.... while I think the 6R could do it... with a few comfy mods.... I think if you are going to get into something like that and want to do even 2-5 trips a year, you are going to want the bigger, built for long tour, ride.
The 6R may be fine for the once a year, or couple of years (I personally could see doing the OH ride every year on rt 50, but even that's only about 500 miles), but to really enjoy the ride, long rides, and not be sore for several days after, to have power for heated gear, gps, etc., to not be knocked around by a few gusts of wind... a full tour, or sport tour ride will be more enjoyable.
I am putting the plx givi hard bags and a trunk on mine. I am also having my stator rewound, I would like the extra ele. power. I am also getting the gears changed for the highway use as I do not need off the line speed. I would agree with a winshield however there was a post on here somewhere and can't seem to find it where a guy made a really nice one. Might I suggest also the hid light upgrade, as well as led turn signals, and brake lights added to the luggage.
I'm the man... LOL Custom Windscreen... :canada:
