I got mine today too, but haven't had much time to look at anything yet. I will keep everyone updated on mine as well. I didn't do what anyone else did, so maybe what I did will work.

Just a heads up, make sure you bolt the headlight on the bike and fire it up 1. to make sure everything works right before you seal it and 2. to make sure the rotation is correct. I'm not so sure that H4 alignment ring has the projector sitting level. I put mine on and sat on the bike with it straight up and i think its too high on the left (the worst side to be high on bc oncoming traffic) and trails on the right. I couldn't move around how I wanted to, to see better bc I was using the battery from my car to power it (it was late and I didnt wanna take the seat off), but I'm pretty sure I will adjust it some after double checking.
Anyone else have to do some dremeling? I opened up that hole to the left of the bulb opening to feed through the high beam pigtail. Also had to trim off some of the edges of the lock ring so it would go far enough down on the threads of the projector when in the housing. Also another big thing for me was that my shroud (gat 2.0) did not fit all the way down on the projector. I ended up trimming off the optional mount holes on the projector which let it slide in further.
Still alot less work than when I did this on my car but maybe a little more work than I was expecting. Looks great in the headlight tho! Hope my experiences helps someone as they are doing theirs! How are you guys mounting the ballast and relay? Zip ties? Existing bolts? etc?
yes i had to do some dremeling but i decided to change my shroud to the GTI-R...you got it done already...that was fast

How much is this kit again?
I think I may do this and paint the headlight housing and the projector shroud black. Full blacked out FZ6R then, be the end of all other colors on it except the shock![]()
I wouldn't say i'm done, but I think i made fair progress for one night
Here's so far:

(not sure why that pic is sideways, it wasn't...)The shroud fit fine with the lens on (i was a little worried when I saw it too!) Bonus with this shroud is that its snug enough in the stock housing that you really dont need the shroud ring to hold it on.
looking good...im doing everything on sat...with school and stuff...no time during the week
Cool, I def understand that, especially around exam time. I'm not too far out of school myself (class of '09). I still work on campus so I know its hectic and I'm doing this workout called Insanity which is ridiculous and exhausting lol. What school you going to? Oh and thanks for doing the write up for everyone!
im doing p90x/cardio mon wed and friday (stricly weights), jillians 30day shred on tues and thrus with the wife, and MMA cond on sat with core at local mma gym and going to school tues thurs night a FSCJ(florida state coll jacksonville) but this SAT is my ME time for this project...no prob on the write up
Beast! Yea i don't think i'm at that level yet. Insanity is doing a great job of kicking my ace. I'm just about finished with month 1. It works but OMG!
Ok back to retrofit topics...lol
Good luck everyone! can't wait to see the finished projects!
Ok so slight dilemma, I'm putting everything back together and laid everything out in sections by how it came out. But I have an extra plastic push pin screw that I'm not sure where it goes. I had 2 in the gauge plastic and 2 in the dash plastic on the sides. Where else are there plastic pushpins?
My question is...which way should the slot on the projector threads be pointing? It is perfectly in line with the cut off on the inside...does the open part go to the bottom or the top. This is my first HID mod, so that is new to me.
Yeah, that is basically all I needed. I just needed to know where to align in. I could tell that with the ring, it didn't align it correctly. I should be able to handle it from here. What is that extra bag with the ballast connector in it? I can't seem to figure that out either.
