That seems to be where everyone mounts theirs. I couldn't mount mine there because I have LED's there.Yall went all out on the ballast mounting lol, I just used some 3m double sided tape and mounted mine to the frame next to the forks.

6000k here and i have to level mine as well but just slightly...after i tested and reassembled i have like 15 hours into this thing and just wanted it togetherThey look great guys! Chad, I love that you painted the shroud blue to match the rest of the accented pieces on the bike.
The light output seems to be pretty much the same. What bulbs are you guys running? I have 6000K, but yours look a little more blue than mine. I also have to level mine out, but I've been so darn busy.

I agree, I put a ton of hours into this project as well, and I am glad that it is all done.6000k here and i have to level mine as well but just slightly...after i tested and reassembled i have like 15 hours into this thing and just wanted it together
Hey cav sorry I didnt scroll back in the thread all I saw was his! I love the photos you took you did an exceptional job with this mod as well  Im jealous of both of you! Im almost tempted to send my headlight to one of you and have you do itno love ...jk
I would be up for that now that I have done it, but your bike would be out of commission for a while....Hey cav sorry I didnt scroll back in the thread all I saw was his! what kind of time frame we talking? just rough ideaI would be up for that now that I have done it, but your bike would be out of commission for a while....
Took me about 5 or 6 six hours and since I have done it once, I could prolly do it faster. Depending on how fast you shipped it to me, and I shipped it back, I would say for me to do it about 2-3 days. I would try to get it done as fast as I could because you would be without your bike. You will be doing all the dis-assembly and re-assembly so I wouldn't have to do that. Let me know bro, I will hook you up. Gotta order the kit too man. You may also think about trying to do it yourself, it is pretty simple, just time consuming and we all can help you.what kind of time frame we talking? just rough idea

35W is what we have so i would say yesIf I decided to do a projector would my DDM Tuning 35w HID Ballasts be enough to power a projector? I'm guessing I'd need to do some wire splicing as the harnesses may not be the same. If I can just order the projector and use my existing ballasts that'd probably cut down on the cost a little for me.
You would want to get the wiring harness too because it has the high beam solenoid wiring, and the relay. I would imagine all you need is the projector and the harness, I believe the shroud is included. Perhaps you could talk to Nate at the Retrofitsource and he will tell you what you need.If I decided to do a projector would my DDM Tuning 35w HID Ballasts be enough to power a projector? My HID kit has 2 ballasts and relay from the looks of it. I mounted 3 different things on the bike for it.You would want to get the wiring harness too because it has the high beam solenoid wiring, and the relay. you might not get away with that here then...only thing we needed was 1 ballast and 1 relayMy HID kit has 2 ballasts and relay from the looks of it. I mounted 3 different things on the bike for it.
Well guess it's a good thing I picked up the HID on sale for $35 lol. It won't be too much of a loss to swap it out if I decide to go for it. If I ever get the $ to do it that is.you might not get away with that here then...only thing we needed was 1 ballast and 1 relay
well if you get 3 more we all get a good deal 110Well guess it's a good thing I picked up the HID on sale for $35 lol. It won't be too much of a loss to swap it out if I decide to go for it. If I ever get the $ to do it that is.
