I took the Mistress for a four hour ride yesterday all around the Napa Valley before the rain moved in. I rode up to Lake Berryessa, took all the roads around there, then rode up to Angwin, down into St. Helena, then back home through Rutherford, Oakville, and Yountville. There were a few bikers out (one group up at the lake), but overall, it was open roads. It gets real busy up here on the weekends with motorcycles, but I had the roads to myself practically. I stopped along the way to stretch and take some pics of the girl. Sorry, Joloy, I was gonna call you, but it was a last minute decision to ride.
I took some videos of some of my favorite twisty sections too. I just need to edit them first.

Man I wish I could get out and ride the twisties this weekend. It's been raining here for a week straight. 
Very unusual for this time of year here. One day commuting in the wet was enough for me. Been driving the car all week. I So want to get out there and do some real riding. But a week of rain has left most roads covered in mud, gravel, and just a ton of shitty run off. :surrender: Here's hoping for a week of dry so I can finally get back onto the canyons.

When I'm taking a turn, my butt and upper body are shifted to the inside. So my outside knee is hooked on the tank. I don't really worry too much about where my butt is fore and aft. It kind of falls into the right spot when I use the right body positioning. By bending my arms and keeping my upper body loose and low and getting my butt off the seat and my knee hooked on the tank, it helps keep everything else in the right spot without having to think about it so much.
