it is Ducati, bike, not the rider. forgot what race it was, within last 2-3 maybe, rossi is running the new duc bike and it's a mess, not sorted at all, and still rossi is able to out ride hayden which is riding a more stable and familiar bike to him. just the fact that rossi is able to semi maintain the beast and run in the top 5 or so speaks volumes for his ability.
I'm not saying Rossi isn't a better rider than Nicky, but it was reported earlier in the season that Ducati has designed these bikes based on Rossi's style. Nicky even eluded to this in his interview with Dave Despain. He's been fighting to make the bike work all year. I think it's cool he's with Ducati, but it's frustrating that these two suffer because the manufacturer is behind.

Rossi is a 9 time world champion... so I would lean towards the Ducati not being up to par. The Honda's have a clear advantage over the competition. Lorenzo (my fav) needs to pull it together... Might be too late for him. We will see.

First podium for Super Sic, not bad! :)
finally he was able to ride a clean race and hold it together until the end, happy for the big haired freak

once again BBC coverage did about 20min. pre-race stuff - did any of you see them showing Stoner taking some turns in super slow mo? = you could tell the rear tire was rotating much faster than the front, sliding a good part around the turn while he was using the red/white curb literally against his body  he's just a notch more than the other riders right now.

hopkins was out yet once again. hope suz. returns next year :(

Love the Turn 1 seats guys! Mine weren't bad either though!

Sorry I couldn't get hooked up with you guys. Spent Saturday making sure the wife was entertained down there and today was a whirlwind. I rode in with my dad and spent pretty much the whole time with family.
