What kind of front signals are those?

Flush the brake fluid and grease the slide pins with a light layer of grease. I had the same problem, lever felt nice and sharp when I was at a stop but as soon as I moved, it went soft. Greasing the pins helped the most.

Take a multimeter and back probe a couple connectors that are known to turn off with the key. If its a switched power source it will go from 12v to 0v with the key.

Remove the right side black plastic panel under the seat. On the block should be a metal prong. That is the neutral indicator switch. Make sure it is plugged in since its easy to knock off. Been there :p

Its the color of Yamaha coolant. Comes from factory like that. Probably a form of Super Long Life Coolant.

Are you fast charging the bike or trickle charging it? Maybe try jump starting it to see what happens. All the cold weather lately is hard on batteries and the really thick oil that is recommended for our bikes doesnt help the situation :D

Spray some dry lube such as graphite into it. Should fix the problem.

Is this your first manual transmission? Its a really short and torquey gear. Only takes a small bit of throttle to accelerate is the lower gears and it doesnt take much to reach redline.

It sounds like one of the electrical connections, like the ignition switch, is either not secure or going bad. This would be something for a real mechanic to work with since electrical issues are small and need some good knowledge and if something goes wrong you could be out a bike.

They guy that told you need a special machine is trying to sell you the service. There is a special machine that makes the process easier and a one man job but doesnt do it better or perfectly. Google how to bleed brakes and make sure you put a tube on the bleeder so you can direct the fluid...

Theres a difference between a steam cloud and coolant burning smoke. Steam would look like what comes out the tail pipe on a cold morning. Coolant is a white smoke like what smokers exhale and doesnt dissipate super quick.

White smoke is coolant burning not oil. Oil burns blue smoke and too much fuel makes black smoke.

What kind of noise is it? Is it a squeak, grind, tick, knock? Different noises mean different things in the same location. Need more info or maybe a video. Also, slowly ride the bike with a friend walking along with you listening to the bike as it moves to better locate the noise.
