Yeah he's busted his *** a couple of times from getting too wild on it. It goes up to like, 14mph, so when he gets down on it and tries to jump the median in the middle of the gravel driveway...odd things occur. Sup physics lol.

Took a beautiful ride this morning. My usual route 94 to Buckman Springs to Sunrise Highway to Mt Laguna. Its November for sure. Slightly brisk at 6000 ft. But the colors were insane. Wish I'd brought my gopro. This pic was at the Laguna Lodge restroom stop.

Went on a nice long trip to Lake barcis. It's about an hours each way. Almost got hit 3 times, but the mountain curves were so much fun! I'll post a picture in a bit. Tapatalk doesn't want to work right now...

I believe my wife's OCD cleaning fetish is catching! (when my bikes are concerned)
in that case can you store my bike for a week or so??? im hoping that OCD returns my bike in showroom condition lol

I've ridden that route with SCAR way back when- ie PV, Friendship Bell, and LB...
Was a nice group of folks until a few bad apples polluted the group. I stopped riding with them after that.

I figured I'd post this here since I do have a pic. I know we'd discussed something similar to what I'm going to post, but I couldn't remember what thread and didn't find a dedicated thread.
So I met up with a few buddies on Sunday to go ride 94. There was another large group of guys at the same Starbucks meeting there. (It's a really popular place for people to meet to ride highway 94.) I see a BMW HP4 sitting there. Gorgeous bike. Anyone who says otherwise is insane. The thing is a pure bred race bike with mirrors and lights. I couldn't help but notice though when I got close, the chicken strips on the thing were 3" wide on either side! At first I think, oh, it's got to be brand new. Then I look closer, the center of the rear tire is completely squared off! Same on the front. So I looked through the Motofoto site for pictures to see how this guy rides this thing. I find out now very hard at all.
Now we've talked about this before. Buy whatever you want. To each his own, and ride whatever you like. And please don't ride harder than you're capable of and push yourself beyond your limits just because you're on a superbike. But to me, this is someone with WAY too much money (that bike is $30K!!!! and special order. You can't just walk into a dealership and get one off the floor) to spend on a bike that's not being used even close to what it was designed for. If you like the look of the BMW, great, they're good looking bikes. Buy the standard s1000rr for $16K. You can ride that the same way you're riding your $30K super exotic and 90% of the people out there, even most riders, wouldn't know the difference. 99.9% of riders out there couldn't use the stock bike to it's full potential, especially on the street. So why pay double for the HP4 just to say you have an HP4? Just such a waste to me.
Again, to each his own and if that's how he wants to spend his money, that's his choice. But it just makes me cry a little bit when I see a bike like this being ridden like grandpa's sitting on it. lol. Especially when you see a BMW adventure bike shortly later getting 3 times the lean angle
And I'll cut some of you off, yes I'm jealous. Of course I would love to have the kind of coin it takes to get a hold of that bike. But I'd also ride the thing the way it was meant to be ridden.

Haha I love that bike too... But here's the thing... It's priced at 30k. I wouldn't be so eager to lean over on that thing either. Unless your pockets are deep any damage incured on it is a pretty price too. I think I would baby it way more than a 16k one. Just my opinion...
