What Not To Wear (while riding)

My wife and I pulled up behind a guy on a CBR1000RR at a light on Monday. We were in full gear, he was in a pair of Nikes, silk basketball shorts a tanktop, a back protector and a helmet (probably because it's the law).

They are padded in the hips. Well, mine have hip pads that are removable. I'm not sure if they may have changed the style any since I bought mine a year ago.

Just you wait till the French Canadians invade this winter. I will be snapping away. Thongs and flipflops on Harleys. And helmets, forget about it! Just you wait!! Ha.
 
Oh I'm sure. If our local photographers went to the beaches instead of the mountains during the summer here they'd get a lot of the same crap. I was down at the beach for lunch today and saw a chick on a Gix in little booty shorts, bikini top, and a helmet. She was Smokin' hot to look at, but just plain dumb. :banghead: I just wanted to ask her "why risk that beautiful body?" :cool: If it didn't make me feel like a perv taking pictures from my car of chicks in bikini's I would have pulled out the camera. :o
 
^ d'oh! hehehe... i know it's weird... but i too seem to see more hot chicks when i'm riding as opposed to driving for some reason. but, fear of crashing reigns my eyeballs and concentration back in very quickly... :)

:rof: Sorry dude. I rode down to the beach today for the first time this year. Lots of talent to look at on the beach. But none on bikes. Unfortunately tons of dudes in shorts and tank tops on bikes though as usual. :banghead:

On a side note, I got my first experience of bikes getting chicks while I was down there. Couple of very hot (bikini clad) chicks and one guy were checking out all the bikes when I walked back up to mine to leave. The guy started asking me about the bike, then one of the girls started flirting with me and tried to get me take her for a ride! :eek: Being happily married, I turned her down of course and told her the passenger seat was only for my wife and on top of it she didn't have any riding gear. She goes "what this isn't good enough?" looking down at her bikini. I laughed and told her sorry but I couldn't. Then she asked if I wanted to go down onto the beach and party with them. The guy says "He just said he's married. You're not going to get him. Leave the poor guy alone." :rof: I must admit if I weren't married, I would have been awfully tempted. :drool:

I know exactly what you mean Jon. I frequently ride by Hermosa, Manhattan, Redondo, and Palos Verdes beaches. I almost ran a stop sign while braking my neck today . :eek: I'm single right now.......sooo I may just need to get the gopro mounted back up :D

Pictures of your bikini-clad vixens as described would have made a great addition to this thread. Obviously, they did not have the required safety gear. But just so we are all clear on the matter, it would have been a valuable learning experience- especially when assessing one's available gear vs. the need to ride.

I'm talking safety here.

If I had a camera on me (other than my company cell phone, that wouldn't have been a good thing for corporate to find on my cell) I would have taken a picture of these two. :o If nothing else to show my wife! :rof:

OK it's not like we're at strip clubs every weekend. :rof: I think I've taken her to Cheetah's with a bunch of friends 3 or 4 times. Last one was my birthday last September. A big group of us were the Tilted Kilt (Sports bar where the "scenery" is far better than the food Tilted Kilt | Pub & Eatery ) for my birthday and Kristen goes "these girls are hot but they're not naked. Lets go to Cheetah's!" :D
