I'm getting Dobeck Performance's logo for sure, i'm going to ask about getting orange flames around the logo the same color orange as my seat cover.

Shouldn't be that, I thought he just sent the seat off for the mod that he wanted.

yes the spikes are new. I had red screw heads before. in person it makes a world of dif.

I won an auction for an evolution fender eliminator on ebay. Used from a dealer that must have removed it from a bike that was brought in. 49 bucks compared to 110 new.... I can live with that.

Rode her home from Irvine to SD. Big accident had things slowed down :/
Gonna hit 8,000 miles some time next week or two. Gonna pick up some oil and spark plugs this weekend I guess!

Gave her a wash, clay bar and wax, put on the 2nd coat today. Did the chain too. Will be dropping off some small parts to my powder coater today to have them done in gloss black.
Flogged her for 180 miles with a old riding buddy I haven't seen in a long time. Also rode a couple of roads I haven't been on in probably 2 years. Took some video. I'll post it up in my video thread when I get around to editing stuff. It's summer here for sure now. 
Tons of bikes, unfortunately a lot of car traffic that had to be "displaced" 
The guy I was with surprises the hell out of me every time we ride. He's a BMW guy and not an S1000RR, it's one of these odd ball adventure bikes with a swing arm front suspension and shaft drive. And he's friggin' fast on it. I lost him when I was infront on some of the areas I'm very familiar with. But the areas he knew better than me, I had to just concede that I wasn't going to keep up. Here's a pic of his bike.

When for a ride with couple of friends. Was nice to ride for more than 15 minutes. In the Army we have to road test the new riders so our company mentor and I took 3 with us. In the road test we have to hit twisties, highway ride while at the same time practice to ride in group.:america: Also was nice to see another 6R in the road. It was nice to know that the owner is in the air force. :thumbup:

Put a sequential tail light on and took the fender off. Just waiting on the plate bracket to complete the job. Also received the shogun frame sliders. Just not sure I'm going to put them on. I don't want to cut the fairings. So, they might be for sale here shortly. lol

Went for a ride after the weather finally cleared after 2 days of rain. Took pictures of my nephews who are with us for the weekend to give my sister in law a break. My brother in law is in Kuwait.

Got my Trex spool adapters the other day, putting them on tomorrow. Ordered the Sena SMH5-02 Bluetooth headset and a set of large Sena speakers. Gotta get my jam on. Haven't worn my Bilt Fusion helmet a ton since I got it, but man I love that helmet. Great helmet for the money especially with the dark smoke shield. Putting the Sena on there and not my other helmet.

I like my Sena too (same headset), got a month or so ago. Regular speakers for now though.
