What did you do to your bike today?

Yesterday I got my rear HyperPro spring installed. I took the spring/shock assembly off Tuesday night but didn't have the tools to compress the spring to remove it. The tool O'Riley's rents is for cars and doesn't work for our spring.
So Wednesday I took the whole assembly to the Yami dealership to see if they could swap out the spring for me. They called a few hours later and said they didn't have the right tools either! What the hell? They suggested some shops in town that might be able to do it. So after making a couple of calls I took it to an auto mechanic that specializes in springs.
Thursday morning they were able to get to it, and apparently their spring compressor barely caught the small bike spring, but it worked. $48 and a day and a half later, I managed to get my rear spring to match my front fork springs. Whew! What a hassle.

Chain tension adjusted, washed, lubed, waxed, air pressures checked, all ready for a nice ride with a couple of good friends tomorrow. Just gotta go mount up the GoPro, clean up and CatCrap my helmet and visor, and put the new back protector in my new suit and I'll be set. Kind of pissed my new gloves didn't come in yesterday for this ride though.

took out the bike on this wonderful day with the girlie for about a 2 and half hour ride to ringing rocks state park; should have been an hour ride their, but, i decided to think i knew the route and we got lost for an hour , as well as, on the way home! thought i knew were i was going but nope :]. love the 6r:thumbup:

Received my "CLEAR" ImmortalGraphix Tank Protector today in the mail. Might try putting it on tomorrow.
*Update - Applied the Tank Protector today. May have put it on starting a little low and wish that it didnt have gaps between the levels on the way up, but The top level is level to the curve on top of the tank, so I think it might be ok. Think it looks pretty good too. The clear unable to really notice it.

When to do some work in Miami today with the 40 lbs Pelican toolbox on the rack. On the way back I rode the I-95 75 miles long trip back home through a car wash! Thank to my Shock Doctor helmet and gloves dryer (dried my boots too!). Gears are ready for tomorrow. Might go in the man cave to clean up the bike and lube the chain... my wife is working tonight.

Also changed oil and filter today. Used Rotella t-6. It had none of the things on the bottle the manual said not to put in so I supposed it'll be fine?

i heated up the engine wore in the rpmgauge by attempting to learn the power wheelie...:spank:

Performed part maintenance today. Included plugging up the tube and the spout on the intake box. It was popping a ton with or without the juicebox installed after the exhaust mod. Have not ridden yet but it should be better. The idle is more rough now though.
Any thoughts?

Added a 12v outlet and GPS to the bike. The plug looks like it belongs there, I tell ppl it's my Transformers button 
(I know it seems low in the picture, but the GPS for me is just an aid and with my short ass I really don't look down much to see where I'm going so keep those comments in your head, I heard enuff flaming arldy, im happy with the placement
