That's exactly what I do too.I keep mine in gear at lights for the most part, unless I know I will be waiting a while and need my left hand for something.
Same for meI keep it in gear until there are a couple cars behind me,... then I'll put it in N... but I am also ready to put it into gear if other things happen... it's a split second, but I'm willing to take that chance as the rear ending is the biggest cause of incidents...
That's pretty close to what I do. If it's a really long light and there are a number of vehicles behind me I might go to neutral but only to give my left hand a little reprieve from the clutch and then I go right back to gear.I keep mine in gear at lights for the most part, unless I know I will be waiting a while and need my left hand for something.
