i think here in Illinois anything above 20 or 30mph over is speeding, reckless endangerment and a bunch of other stuff and even more when you get to triple digits most likely

heh i cant wait till the morning to show u my chicken strips they are tiny like half an inch on each side front tire is fairly new though and i have drifted a corner scared the shit out of me

hey rook the CHP add on a ton of tickets for triple digits or at least they did to my friend 142 mph and tadaaa speeding and reckless driving then he walked around the bike and gave him some fix it tickets for the flush mounts and some other junk. oh and had the bike impounded

I got reckless driving in VA for going 20 over ANY speed limit. I think triple digit was impound/arrest if I remember right. Not sure what it is here in OR. I'll have to check.

Q. What are the penalties for reckless driving by speed?
A. The maximum statutory penalty is twelve months in jail, six months suspension of your Virginia driver’s license or six months suspension of your privilege to operate a motor vehicle in Virginia if you are licensed elsewhere, plus a fine of up to $2,500. If your privilege to operate a motor vehicle in Virginia is suspended for any period of time, Virginia DMV will report the suspension to the state that issued your driver’s license. Most states honor suspensions from other states and will suspend licenses of their own citizens upon notification of an out of state suspension.
The actual penalty which you can realistically expect varies considerably by jurisdiction. In some counties the traffic court judges will begin to incarcerate at 90 mph; at speeds in excess of 100 mph incarceration is a virtual certainly in most jurisdictions.
Some jurisdictions will suspend driver’s licenses (or the privilege to drive in Virginia for those licensed elsewhere) at speeds of 85 mph. At 90 mph or greater such a suspension is quite likely.
Oregon:
TRAFFIC, SPEEDING. Driving 100 mph or greater when committing ORS 811.109 classified
violation. See worksheet Table 3 for formula and amount.

ON CITATION:
ORS 811.109(5) sets a flat fine of $1,000 for any classified speeding violation in ORS 811.109 if the person was driving 100 mph or more.

Drivers convicted of going so fast will face a mandatory minimum 30-90 day driving suspension, in addition to a $1,103 fine, a big increase from the previous fine.

Looks like Rook is right about the CA law. Looks like the only difference in under 100 speeding and over is the 30 day suspension possibility. And of course the hefty fines...

Looks like the only good thing with California is reckless is more then Just speed... the officer has to articulate its reckless... example: doing 100mph in a residential area/school zone etc... out in the middle of know where with no traffic, no danger of hurting some one else etc... is an infraction. However the fine is very high.

LOLAgreed though... I want that Gun Mod for my bike... I think people would give me some space on the roads! haha
On a side note for these Vids... Rook you need to adjust your settings. I was trying to watch vids on YouTube via Xbox and a good # of your vids are for PC only. Seems sporatic.. Some newer ones I can watch but there are some in the mix that do not show up on phone or xbox.
In MN anything above 15 over is considered not only the speeding ticket but you also get hit with a reckless and Endangerment. Thus with the endangerment you get to go to traffic court. (In my first car I got pulled over saying I was going 15 over the limit on hwy94 between STC and WBL on way home from school for the weekend. Had to go to court in Sherburne county. Was able to get out with just a court fee, because I argued that my car could not go that fast. It was a nice car for me at the time and I liked it, but it COULD NOT go 75 w/o getting a butt and back massage, you hit 80 and it would be undriveable, much less 85.)
