I would like to come down and do that. My only issue is I gotta learn the road a bit before I hit it hard so Id have to make a few passes so I know how hard I can push and what to anticipate. I like to come home at night

but I wanna hit twisty 60 and a few others down there for sure

Yea I take them pretty slow still. The few times I have gone we end up taking different routes and i only learn small sections at a time. I don't push too hard yet but hopefully I will have some more time to practice this year.

A buddy down here was on a kawi versys 1000 and he was definitely taking it slow with us. Although I kept up much better than the other 2 that were with us :thumbup:

CC the bluffs in Wisc made me shard myself the 1st time i took them. your going straight up high on the hills and then the road takes a 35+ degree drop off with major L,R,L,R turns. the 2nd time we ran them it was amazing

Blue you need to come down into Winona. We are right in the middle of the river valley so there is some nice runs around. There is a run from Kellogg to Zumbrota falls, county road 18. I should stop hi-jacking the thread now though.. ha!

Well... You do, it's just the whole tire is a chicken strip right now. It's the shiny part of your tire that doesn't or hasn't had contact with the road

ohhhhh well then my tire looks just like yours then lol dull in the middle, shiny everywhere else!!! but to be fair today i did my first cornering at more than 10mph, thank you! i did a turn at 21mph! and look thru the turn i LEANED my hubby told me so, he was actually surprised how much i leaned, yay!!! and the bike feels GREAT once i hit 3rd gear!!! it just wants to GOOO, and i have to mentally hold back lol, ive been revving the bike more, instead of shifting so soon, did u know i can go 45mph in 2ND!!!??? haha!

oh hell no!!!! lol no thank you haha, id need a diaper at that point! what gear were you in at 100mph? you were at 9000rpm, just curious i think i shift too soon, ive been trying to stay around 6-7000rpm i was shifting at 4000, and that just seemed too soon.

Man, it must be nice! One of the reasons I bought this bike is because it is detuned. I want to run the backroads around here at 100mph. They would be awesome! If I once did it, though - Impounded bike, jail time, fines I couldn't pay with a loan. I'm the guy who gets busted smoking a cigarette in the no smoking area. Even if my riding skills were up to it, the consequences are simply not worth it. Kudos to you, sir. I truly hope your luck holds out!

What state are u in? Its only a ticket here (CA) for 3 digits.
