Motorcycle Pictures... Post All Your Pics Here

Will keep our fingers crossed for the inspection and hope the outcome is what you want... If u can't make the 27th there's the canyon carving seminar on the 6th. Cant wait for that one, as Marc is sure to teach us some useful stuff.

Did u see the photos of him dragging knee at the snake with Raquel on the back? lol...

Looks like ill make both events. The inspection went well. I'll know the outcome in April. And my attorney gave me the wrong date lol. Inspection was today. It was a blessing cuz the weather was ideal.

marc's pic of him dragging knee with raquel is epic. you can tell they are pro. I've seen people eat shit by themselves on that turn.

BJ> Awesome. Keep us all posted, and great to hear you can make the events... Hopefully your bike will be ok, and SCAR wont turn into another CBR club... Hahaha.. Now all we need to do is hope the weather cooperates. ^_^

Jon> Yah, the group's leadership team sounds similar to your group- ie lotta friendly, helpful, veteran sport riders who don't mind baby-sitting us newbies... <lol> Well, it seems like they invest more time in newbie events- when they could be doing track days or more advanced riding events amongst themselves. =P

I think they get more pleasure out of helping people with similar passions. I know I have no problem giving new or old riders tips in the mountains if they ask for them, or seem like it could benefit them. I got a lot of help starting out too, so its only fair :).

yah... my exp thus far has been really good- both on the forums and with the riding groups. the biking community has a lot of friendly, helpful ppl... :)

the black & red look really nice... what kind of FE is that?

Here is what I have so far, going to do a little more, would like to get some pics posted on here of me riding, but just a pic parked in the garage for now.:banghead:

Some pix from this weekend Azusa GMR... All the sand trucks on GmR killed the fun...

Uploaded the wrong size pix...

Re-uploaded to the bigger size... :)

Yah and they cross the double yellows like mad too! lol Gotta watch out. But they do use turn outs n let us pass- unlike most other cars. I always wave to say thanks.

Yeah I noticed that too. Its good they do pull over. The only bad thing, is that I had a tripod set up and recording, a couple would toot their horn while going past. That just made me laugh, as I had to have a lot of cuts haha.

lol... yah. i hope they fix those roads soon, so we don't have to worry about them so much... >_<

just reuploaded the pictures in the correct size. dunno why the original uploads came out so tiny.

it just goes to show you how technical a road GMR is... ppl who don't respect it and fly around the corners can get into trouble really fast without realizing it.

that u-turn is like the first big turn going up the front side too. for me, it's always the last turn, as i go up back side and come down that way. but, even then it's angled in such a weird way, that if i don't slow down i get scared going around it... >_<

one day i hope to be able to ride thru GMR at a decent speed on my R6 and not feel like a total newbie... i shall go up there every weekend practicing at my snail pace until i get there...

Yeah really, thats a prime example of if you don't respect the road, it will bite you at the first turn. In fact, I've been behind people who crashed on the first U turn, and several of the U turn switch backs.

Well, it takes safe practice! I've been riding that road since I first started riding 3ish years ago on a regular basis, so I've come to memorize most of the corners. So, after a while of gently pushing your comfort level safely farther, you too will be able to carve the canyon quickly!

Just give me a heads up if you fancy a fellow rider to join you up there on the mountain!

On another note, my newly ordered Coocase is supposed to be here on Friday. I will supply pictures after it is mounted as well as after I get it painted!

sweet. hopefully it wont rain sunday for the scar ride too :)

Augh, I hate riding in the cold. lol

I might need to wear leather to stay warm. lol
