Europe gets the FZ8 and Fazer 8

Thats iT!! Im sueing this forum for just letting someone say that about us!!

:justkidding: US is pretty sue happy! Alot think of it as the LOTTERY!! without having to buy a ticket!!

I had the chance to ride an FZ6, as well as many other Yamaha's, as the Yamaha Demo team came through my town yesterday. I actually liked my FZ6R over the FZ6, FJR, and R6. The FZ6R is the best of all the worlds combined into one great bike. But as always, to each their own. The R6 was pretty cool though, uncomfortable as hell, but pretty cool. Damn thing is like a rocket ship, my face looked like this while accelerating  lol
It almost scared me a little, I would definitely end up dead riding one of those on the streets. Those bad boys are meant for the track.

well, it's settled: if & when the FZ8 makes it over here, I'll have one in my garage. That's one great looking bike.

I'm guess that the new naked bikes may never make it over to N. America. The bottom line is that the vast majority of Europeans like nakeds, and the majority of N. Americans like faired bikes. I was in Paris a week ago and I was stunned at the number of nakeds on the streets, as well as maxi scooters and even three wheelers like the Piaggio. Almost no sport bikes. They have completely different tastes in Europe and tend towards very practical bikes that are good for city commuting.

Don't get your hopes up when it comes to nakeds.

It would have been really nice if they would have used an undertail exhaust rather than the side-mount can. :(
