Anyone else experienced this?
The devil on my shoulder beat the angel on my other shoulder down while i was out riding the other day. I was in the groove and hit the curves on the backroad out by my house and I was really cooking. Hit a nice left sweeper that switched back to the right and i...
So i got the alarm installed all good , but the damn tilt sensor doesn't trigger. I've tried numerous different angles of mounting as shown in the picture and even some that aren't shown. I can't get it to trip. Not that i feel it is necessary with the shock sensor more than capable of handling...
Ok so I searched airbox mod and found...... NOTHING! Of course most board search engines aren't the greatest.
As i did with my previous bikes i investigated the restictive nature of the factory airbox and found that the inlet to the airbox under the filter was as small as the crevice tool...

Got just a little rash and some paint missing...

I definately had to bend the headers to fit. The best method i found was to stand on the slip-on end of the pipes and place a floor jack handle section...
Self explanatory thread title. I intend to go forth and remove the internals to my converter. This thing is ridiculously HOT! The bike constantly runs @ 208degrees and the fan is always running even in the mornings sub 85 degree weather. It is my understanding that this is due primarily to the...
Ok new member and owner. I just picked up my new 09 FZ6R friday. I'm an experienced rider and mechanic. In my understanding the FZ6 is built around a detuned 04-05 R6 motor. If this is accurate information what steps did yamaha take to detune and take the edge off the power and power delivery of...
