Clearance Clarence!

So i finally got my 2001 R6 Headers to fit. I dont' know if they are any different than the 02 and others that are used here on the forums.

I definately had to bend the headers to fit. The best method i found was to stand on the slip-on end of the pipes and place a floor jack handle section into the primaries and bend them up. This method can be tricky if you don't bend them all the EXACT same amount.

To continue , i just ordered my R6 D&D pipe. It won't be under the bike but it's better than open headers for now :wav:

So you're riding around with just headers?:eek:

Got the D&D pipe on. It sounds SUHWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!



Still needs to be fixed up as it's rashed really bad and needs some endcap repair work. Nothing a rivet gun and mig can't handle!
