Let us know when you get them installed. I am interested to see if they work mounted below the triple tree. I said I was done doing mods but this one has me thinking again, damn! oh and the front suspension mod and them I'm done :D Cheers, Kevin

    Apex clip ons

O.K. now we have the first clip on mod:thumbup: Guidobergamo could you get some nice close up pictures of those and let us take a good look? I'm interested in how you have them set up to get good clearance with the tank. I would also like to see what you did to cover up the old handle...

    Leaning Machine

Just another observation, also from the Canyon Chasers website in the news brief: CanyonChasers.Net News Brought to you by the “Department of Bad Ideas” "Because if you are riding correctly and have good posture, you will most likely have "chicken strips" (we even call them your "margin...

    Rear tire hugger?

I don't know of any reason why yours would be any different. It is kinda like the seat cowling though, hard to believe the price for just some plastic, but it certainly will look cool on the bike:thumbup:

    Rear tire hugger?

O.K. I just got my rear hugger from KneeDraggers. :wav: They were very up front about it saying it would take about 6 weeks as it would have to come from Europe.(The label says Spain) Excellent customer service from Ken as he answered my inquires promptly and even called me when it shipped...

    Rear tire hugger?

I guess now I am confused too. The only rear hugger shown available for FZ6R on the Puigusa website is one with the integrated chain guard. Rear Mudguards - Mudguards (Plastic Tuning) For the bike model Yamaha FZ6R 2009 | Puig That is what I based my decision for the purchase. The one...

    spools

I almost went that route because I thought it would be great to have the spools but when I looked closer at the product I came to the conclusion below: They appear to me to work great if you are just wanting them for servicing your chain.......but if you need to remove your rear wheel I do...

    Rear tire hugger?

Yep, the reasoning I got: products out of Europe are delayed due to the volcano ash and flight backlogs. Things are a little backed up and maybe motorcycle parts are not on the top of the list, (although business is business) Anyway I went ahead and ordered one, plus a Dainese Shotgun jacket...

Stuna, Big thanks for that link. A great primer on forks and explanation of the emulators! Kevin

    racetech fork mod

Stuna, From the link you supplied: Simply put; Emulators make damping rod forks perform like well-tuned cartridge forks. Emulators are tunable valves that sit on top of the damping rods and are held in place with the main springs. This makes them both simple to install and completely tunable...

    front suspension upgrade

Thinking about this up grade too.Did anyone here do the Hyperpro install themselves? If so how hard was it? EDIT: Oh a quick search shows me that Stuna did this himself. From what I read it looks like you did not even remove them from the bike and just opened the top. Is that correct? Did you...

    Motorcycle lift

I almost got those and then realized that they would not work for removing the rear wheel. They are attached to the bracket that is held on by the axle. They will work fine for anything else that you need to lift the bike for just not removal of the rear wheel. Happy New Year! Kevin

Newly designed rear set coming soon

It looks to me the real challenge will be in moving the shifter and brake pedals to that location. Unless I'm totally confused and those are the new passenger foot pegs. I believe there is a difference between what are referred to as the "rearsets" and what is called the passenger pegs, I do...
