nicely done! Are those steel braided lines? I've been looking for a pair that's not separate lines like the usual sold. My buddy has fairing damage on his R6 cause his lines rub against his fairing.

That is an awesome looking bike, didn't wanna spend that much money on it though haha, would be nice, and no they are just regular blue lines, I didn't get steel because I heard they rubbed really bad

Just my opinion, but I've never liked the 6R naked. It's just so obviously a faired bike that someone took the fairings off of.
If you dig it, roll with it. If it's not doing it for you, keep the plastic. Your bike is pretty darn hot with all the pieces in place.

Here's my 09 fz6r, it's got 6600 miles. Quite a few things were done when I picked the bike up like flush mount signals and the integrated taillight. I recently painted the windscreen and added mirrors. The previous owner cut holes for the frame sliders which weren't appealing to me so I covered to hole with kitchen sink hole covers, let me know what you guys think!

Looks good! I haven't been to Nova Scotia since I was a child. Is the riding as good as the scenery?
I don't personally care for the windscreen. To me it looks like the skull plate of an H.R. Geiger Alien. The kitchen sink hole covers are not even noticeable in the pics.
You've got a good-looking bike on your hands. The good news is, it even more fun that it looks!

It's for sure fun! I love it.
I agree on the windscreen, I don't like it either but I made the most of it. Probably going to wrap the frame and white and plastidip the rims white to match my white spring. Thanks for reply!

This is me on the Tail of the Dragon last Saturday.
Oh Baby! The Dragon to me was just as scary as it was fun. That ride should be Bucket List for any motorcycle rider.
You look pretty good, too! JK could tell you better, but from what I could see, on that corner, your form looks really good.
All geared up as well? You sir, are a Rider!
The next one for me is the "Back of the Dragon." Google it, then click on "View in Google Maps" on the top of the map on the left side of the page.
Look at that squigly! Whoo Hoo! That's where I'm going this Spring. It looks more convoluted than the intestines of a constipated pig! (I guess. I haven't actually seen those, but the mental image fits...)
What a road. I can't wait.

The back of the Dragon looks cool, it's closer to me too! Maybe next year, as I am unfortunately out of vacation time for the year.
ATGATT baby! We do it because it works. And yes, because we're not stupid.
I was hoping to ride the Back this year, but couldn't make it happen. It's also closer to me than the Tail is, but I just had to ride the Tail first.
I'm not close enough to going to do the research, so I don't know what the speed limit is on the Back. If it's more than 40mph then there are a couple of switchbacks that I truly fear. On Google Maps they look like 15mph turns, laid over and possibly hanging off.
I'm hoping that the speed limit changes. It looks like some wonderful twisties that could be run at speed. All swoosh and swoosh. Then I'm hoping there's a speedzone with a drop for the tighter parts.
I'll find out when I do more research as the possibility of actually riding it becomes reality, and will be ready when I get there. In the meantime? Part of the fun is the dreaming after all.
