What don't you like about your FZ6R?

After see lots of people leaving this bike for others, and people wondering if they should buy an FZ6R...

Figured I would start this thread (and another one) and hopefully get it stickied!

So what don't you like about this bike?

Chain drive - would prefer shaft
Mirrors
Stinger rear fender

I have corrected 2 of the three!

I found the shifting to be less than spot-on, and wanted for more suspension adjustability. Those were my only complaints.

Not sure there is anything I don't like about the bike. I've corrected some of my cosmetic complaints (mirrors, fender eliminator, led turn signals and flush mounts, new exhaust). This bike is nearly bullet proof. Is it a R6, hell no, but it can do almost everything the R6 can and somethings maybe a little better. Just won't win a race in a straight line. You'll smoke 95% of the cars you see on the road though.

cosmetics suck ass but the bike is great unless your looking for crap loads of power to race from light to light and be sore as anything after an hour of riding like all the dudes i ride with but i can ride all day and be comfy cozy all day long :canada:

The only thing I think mine is missing is more power, but I am slowly moving through bikes before I go all crazy and get an SS anyways. So bottom line is I am good for now, love my 6R, it's almost paid off too I think I am going to keep it and get an SS when it's paid in a couple months. That way I have best of both worlds.

Height, Too high or too low?
What exactly is wrong with the way it shifts?
Too much slop, hard shifts?
I ask because someone else looking for info will probably ask.
My bike shifts like a champ. LOL!

I don't like the pointless power crystal on the headlight.
I don't like that there are no 4-way hazard lights.
To me it feels slightly under powered. A 10hp gain would be great.

Power....... everything else I thought was excellent especially when you factor in cost. Loved the looks and it ran exactly how Yamaha designed it to.

Agree on all three of those. You can bump up the hp. Cam swap, PCV/exhaust I think bumps you up about 10hp and drops weight too.

Definitely don't like the chain. My previous bike was shaft driven, and maintenance was minimal...

I don't like how top heavy it is or how tall it sits even with the seat lowered. Guess I'm just TOO short.

Also, the mirrors and stock fender. WtF Yamaha?!

I like the decepticon headlight logo... I dont like the unadjustable forks. the narrowness of the tank, i swear i smash my boys once a week. the fact that aftermarket exhaust cost close to 1000 with the exception of MARTHYS. but other than that its awesome

More booty

Hate the small trunk, wish tail section was bigger. Can fit 2 water bottles in a ninja 250 trunk. I also dislike the power crystal. I have grown use to the rabbit ears.

I'm on the fence about that one, if I had a choice it wouldn't be there, but since it's there it doesn't really bother me. Not sure what they were thinking when they designed it. LOL!

I think I remember someone saying that it is used for bikes sold internationally but not in the US so for us it's pointless.
