Very minimal machining to fit the 6R timing gear on the FZ6 cams. But I think you can fit the FZ6 cams gear if you change the chain and crank gear. It's an easy job if you are mechanically incline. But it a B$%^ to get it right. The cams need to be time a certain way and the timing mark on the gear... not there!So is that a straight swap of parts or is there machining, cutting & shutting involved?
I pull out a 8 hrs on it last night. It's one of those things that it can take few shot before you get there. Cams are in, valves adjusted (pretty much spot on) and cams timed!
All I need to do today is put it back together, install the MAP sensor then load the map. Voila!
