hmmm...I think I am going to have to crawl under it this weekend...According to the MX manual, remove the seats, the fuel tank, the clutch assembly, drain the oil, drain the coolant, remove the exhaust pipe assembly, and remove the water pump. However, looking at the diagrams, It seems to imply removing the oil pump system as part of the instructions after the pan has been removed. Nothing about removing the engine itself.
It looks like you'll have to remove the exhaust pipes, and the oil level sensor. It does say to use a new seal when reinstalling the sensor.
What happened to your bike?hmmm...I think I am going to have to crawl under it this weekend...
It's going to the mechanics tomorrow for damage estimate...
Once I found a dealership that was open today they said 3 hrs with the engine staying in frame...
From the parts fish diagrams I don't see the oil level sensor in the pan...

It's under "Electrical 1" in the parts diagram. Look for a set of wires running from under the pan and you'll see it poking out under there.hmmm...I think I am going to have to crawl under it this weekend...
