Indeed it was finally a great GP race. Actually GP was more exciting than Moto2 for once this time. I'm not a Lorenzo fan at all. But damn he earned a TON of respect for what he did. I mean riding with a broken collarbone 24hrs after surgery. Most people would be in bed recovering from the anestesia and he's out racing a 250bhp bike at 200mph.
Even though I'm a Yamaha guy, I really want to see Pedrosa win this title. He's so good and has been so close, and just had some crazy bad luck. And he seems like he's pretty down to earth compared to most of the others. I'm also a big fan of Crutchlow. I've read a couple of articles in MCN and couple of other UK mags and he always seems like such a cool guy. And he's KILLING IT on a satellite M1. Other riders have been on "satellite" bikes and done extremely well (Simoncelli, Bradl,) but they were on factory bikes being given to the satellite team. Crutchlow has a true satellite bike with second best equipment.
I am glad to see Rossi back on form. And you can't say he won just because others were out. Lorenzo was the only one off the top of his game. Marquez, Pedrosa, Crutchlow, were all on form. I don't know if he has any championships left in him, but I really think he's got a shot to get to the 123 wins he needs to beat Agostini's record (122) now that he's on a good bike. Losing 2 full years really hurt his chances though.
