I'm totally in but seemed there was some confusion between marty and I. I was under the impression that we were going to meetup/ride up with whomever was close (here in west palm) and go up there..meet at the wing house or w/e...eat and actually go to biketober fest. marty thought we were going to go up there, meet at the winghouse and ride around (I think thats what he said)


I'm down for us all walking around biketober fest together (depending on how much it costs to get in) if its 2 expensive then we can find something else to do...

I'm in either way. I'm not crazy about big drunk crowd... but It would be nice to meet some of you for sure. I night bring my wife with me. All depend if she work Saturday night or not...

I drove around last year. Was ok. Typical biker crowd. Park your HD and get drunk crowd. I'll be in Jx tomorrow night with my wife. Doing the Marine Corp 1/2 Marathon on Saturday am...:thumbup:

Biketober Fest FZ6R Style!

October 13th-16th, 2011 What about the Saturday the 16th? Now let's find a decent joint where to meet. Usually I stop at the Wing House by the speedway... but I'm sure we can find something better than that. Route 40 from Daytona to Ocala is kind of nice... I'm not so crazy about getting parked or riding at 2 mph on the beach...

So what are the definite plans?

I'm down for a group ride, seeing as I haven't had anyone to ride with since I've had my bike. My dad and uncle might drive down from NY with a couple bikes for biketoberfest, otherwise It'd just be me.

If you guys are hitting up the bars and stuff though I'll have to sit out, being underage FTL

i agree...what ARE the plans then. I only thought biketoberfest cuz itd be something to do together. If we aren't going to go to it, then why does it need to be that weekend? If ppl are free in general that weekend im fine, just not sure why else we picked that weekend.

Don't worry about the drinking... I'll buy!

No drinking for me on the cycle. One of the reason I don't want to go hang out beach side where everyone drink all day long and get stupid. I get paranoid in a big crown of drunk idiot! But lunch meet and some riding sound good. I don't mind to visit some of the stuff around the speedway or if anyone has something in mind. I drove on Hwy40 once from Daytona to Ocala. No twisties there, but it's a nice road and there's few park we can stop for a group pics. I can fill up my trunk with ice and refreshments...:canada:

It's just a suggestion... usually my rule is no plan is a good plan! :thumbup::thumbup:

Bars and Motorcycles don't mix. Bikes and Wing House are compatible.

I'm with the "No drinking and riding" club too. Drinking any amount of alcohol when the bike is my ride is definitely not worth it for me. A meet, chow, cruise sounds fun!

Nice for throwing me under the bus... lol ok, what about we plan to meet up around 11:30 or so at the Wing House right off the I95 exit for the speedway. We can grab a bite and chit chat while heating then hit the road. Ill try to plan a route and ill check whats going on there so maybe we can walk around and check few thigs.

let me know how much riding you want to do... in miles or hour so i can plan a bit better. please, bring soke suggestion.
