They are killing me too. You guys don't live in Louisiana.. It is very high here. Lowest quote I've gotten, and I've quoted them all, was $78 a month full coverage. Now that I have the Road Star it's down to $72 a month.

My insurance is pretty cheap $39/month full coverage, but just out of curiosity do you pay to be an AMA member? What is the benefit of being a member besides insurance? Why is the sky blue? j/k

It's 50 bucks a year to be a member but I save a lot more than that in insurance. As for benefits and all check their site, there is free towing for problems, battery issue help, bring you gas, all kinds of stuff. I would certainly check them out. Even if you never use it is a hell of a peace of mind. There are a number of other things as well but I can't remember them all.
