I guess i could look at it on the bright side, i've could have sold my bike twice this week. one was a $1000 and the other was a trade for an 03 gsxr 600.

The population as a whole is rude and wants to get something for nothing, because they feel that they deserve it...when they actually don't.

Thats how everybody is, I myself I offer what I think its worth, such as with my Daytona, dude was asking 6000$ I offered 5500$ cash just to componsate the 6 hour drive. He understood and excepted the offer. The bike is definitely worth 6 though.

Its like when I had a guy ask to buy my 09 Cobalt SS Turbo for 8000$........

How was it Hein? Yeah, it would be cool to keep the 6R, but that bike is awesome!!!

It was everything I was expecting and then some. Feels very light (it is very light), has more power then most of us mere mortals can handle, but it's just amazing anyway you put it. The ONLY draw back, price. Of course for the $3-4k you get 3 year/36k miles warranty, race ABS and traction control over the other Jap offerings... but it's a lot for me (now I'm not saying I'm not gonna bring this horse to my stable).
My next test targets are ZX10-R and R1, the rest of the crowd I don't fancy.

It happens. Business is business & people will say anything nowadays thinking you may be desperate to sell. I try not to take it personal & "usually" let it roll off my back & not answer stupid emails.

The lowballers always do not have the courage to say it to your face or over the phone even if you put your number in the ad.

I had a guy once tell me when I was selling a snowmobile off season that it wasn't going to sell since he didn't see snow in the forcast anytime soon.
Guess what?
It snowed the next day.

Sometimes I do act immaturely myself. Since I just sold my yamaha and went through this...Here how I handled my sale on CL.

I don't feel my price is high for an asking price, you have to figure in some negotiating. Not in a fire sale situation.

Husband Needs a new Home – Low Low Re-homing fee. (Lakewood)
My husband said it’s him or the dog? So, it was a tough choice, but the dog only takes up part of the bed, and he doesn’t steal the covers, so I’m keeping the dog.
Husband has tendency to wander, likes to sleep all day, will play with his balls, isn’t house trained, but will beg to go out. Needs fenced yard without grass to mow, a home with plentiful food (favorite food is pizza) and drink (loves beer). Gets along well with other dogs, doesn’t much care for cats or children. Has little redeeming value, but he is cute. Comes from a long line of hunters, would love to be your hunting companion. Knows Sit, Heel, Stay, and Down. Doesn’t always do them? But he knows those commands; don’t let him try to convince you he doesn’t. Is current on all shots, pretty healthy, has had his teeth cleaned recently, and is NOT NEUTERED and tries to hump anything. I’d be happy to help pay for the neutering.

i've only used craigslist twice in the past.

traded my hunting bow for a shotgun within 30 min of posting.

put my house up for rental, had 6 emails within a couple hours, first emailer came and looked, and have been renting it to them for over 12 months now.

i guess bikes are a whole new ball game.
