crazy how fast those things come up off the side the road, then, bam! they cross traffic, they should know by now to go the other way, you know, where, there's 100's of acres of wide open space :surrender:
Looks like it hurt bad enough. Next thing you know, we'll have 'bird crossing' signs.
This weekend, I had one come across me when I was wot coming off a corner. Of course your natural reaction is to try and dodge it by jerking all over. I missed the bird, but the guy behind me was probably thinking I was going stupid.
Feel your pain man lol happened to me on a wave runner back in the day. Just crusin' along when a seagull decides to crack me in the head. Safe to say, it wasn't a very pleasant experience

I had two black birds fly out if a field
In front if me while doing 70 mph
First one cleared, second one hit the windscreen then plowed into my right shoulder hard enough to pull my whole arm backward
I thought my clavicle was fx'd

I started reading this and had a flashback. I thought it was one of those math questions. "If two trains were traveling at 60 mph on the same track headed toward each other.........." lmaf sorry.

Hmm, sounds like a story here? "hurt like being shot"? Never been shot here except for my a fishing hook through the thumb as a kid! I never want to see what it feels like though!
I do know though that just a little bug to your face at 20mph with your visor open can sure hurt! after experiencing that, I have no idea how people can go w/o helmets w/ face shields!!!
