Aftermarket footpegs?

I put these on.
99-09 Yamaha YZF R6 Rear FootPegs Passenger Foot Pegs : eBay Motors (item 170342640027 end time Nov-01-10 09:38:08 PDT)

I had to glue a 1/16" thick little piece of brass plate inside the mount to make the peg perfectly horizontal. I use a spot of JB weld. They are perfect.
I love them. I hated that mushy hollow rubber feeling...

That and they slip when wet I hate em and the fact there's nothing on the market for our bike yet. Thanks for the quick reply.

Added bonus, u gain about 1 inch of ground clearance compared to stock pegs, in their highest position.

What did you do as far as mounting. Anything fancy? Which size displacement arm did you get?

Is a 3 piece system. the base adaptor (the one i linked, yamaha fz6 works perfectly, it folds as stock), the extension arm (I have the 23 mm, I believe you can get as big as 50 mm) and i chose the Mastergrip style pegs in Black. They offer other style (racing type) and different colors.

so that means any fz6 aftermarket pegs will work?

Just ordered these. Got the 23mm offsets. Can't wait to get them in later this week. Gotta have a little extra ground clearance for when I hit the track this summer.
