2009 Pearl White....A color for women?

dang, that is pretty glitz pink there... lol. nice axe tho.

i like the natural wood-stained finishes better- ie like the color that violins & cellos come in.

Cellos and Violins are stained in a yellowish color. PRS has a Santana II and III in violin yellow.

This Tele is fuchsia...not pink!
and lots of Mother of pearl binding and pickguard...
It's a Country and Western Special..no expense spared on the entire guitar.
I built it from scratch as an experiment....the question was......
Can a Telecaster be too pretty?

Did I prove the point or fail?

Hopefully I will have a TSR 50 soon and I',m leaning towards a pink or fuchsia...with white pearl....paint job.....

i have the white one.... i picked this color over the blue and yellow at the time of purchased... i like everything about the color and decals.

alot of other riders like the color when they see the bike in person... never had one bad comment.

I had the choice of yellow or white when I got mine. I almost went for the white but really wanted the red seat to match like the 2010 model and chose yellow instead.. Don't know why....

magenta is just another form of pink. good luck with your girl bike. LOL.

:rof: That's pretty funny...I dont care who you are. :rof:

When I was looking at buying, I liked the white one, but couldn't get past the
"magenta" graphics. I didn't want to spend money painting the tank. I wish Purple Drank's was on here back then...I like how his is done.

when i was shopping there were 1 or 2 used white ones on craigs list. but they looked like the owners didn't take good care of them. i couldn't find a yellow one, so i went with blue. and, actually now that i got it, i'm quite happy with it, cuz it's easy to color match gear and handles dust fairly well.

i'm prolly never re-visiting black again for bike or car or bicycle- based on my exp of owning my first black color car for the past 6+ years. yes, it's the shiniest color when it's polished & clean. but for all but 30 minutes after u wash it... lol. otherwise, it's just too high maintenance a color for me... lol

+1... Silver car, silver truck, silver bicycle, white motorcycle and Dark Red Motorcycle... I don't mind cleaning my Alice so it's ok - it's the only one that's hard to keep looking clean. :D

The first picture i ever saw of a Yamaha FZ6R was "Pearl White With Black & Vivid Magenta Graphics" and i fell in love with it.

I recently turned 49, have been riding street bikes for over 30 years & never have really cared about what people say or think about what i like.

With that said, i bought that bike on July 24th 2010 and I love it. I have nearly 8000 miles on it & just got back from a 10 state - 2,711 mile ride on it.

i liked the white the best.... that's why i purchased one in this color.... couple reasons

looks sharp
white always makes things look bigger
easy to clean
two tone with the black is hot looking
does not show swirl marks as much

I did the same thing looked it up online and saw the graffics.. fell in love with the white and black with the "red" accents..... Said to myself if i find one of these it will be mine. Found one and it was the only FZ6R they had at left over price and the color i "wanted".

Shocked to see the pinkish color, but i did say if i found one this would be it!! I get many compliments on the bike and design...stock. still thinking about having something airbrushed on by a friend but untill then ride baby ride!! :D

Love this bike and the pearl white is unique and vibrant.

colors

Honestly I don't know what the big deal is, I was originally going to get the yellow fz6r but when I saw the white with tribes I bought it. Be a man and ride a pink bike. except that it is really mostly white so.....Grow a pair and ride what you love.

They don't sell white motorcycles here in Canada because you could never find them in the snow.:canada:

I get so many great comments driving the pearl white with purple, silver and black decals. I am a guy and think the color is unique and interesting and rare. Glad I got it white.

I bought a new pink car in mid year 1970. Everyone laughed at me until I blew their doors off. I loved that car and thought it looked great. They soon learned a little respect for the pink car,a 1970 AAR CUDA. Wish I had that pink car back now. Get what ever color bike you like and be damned with the rest of the jealous freaks. :)

decals on 2009 white fz6r

I too liked the design but hated the color scheme. I repainted mine for 8 dollars. I went to the toyota dealer and bought the touch up paint to match my corolla s. Barcellona red I love the way it turned out. The white is an awesome choice
