Best Tires for rain and stickiness IYO

I ride in the rain probably a 100 days a year and here is my list of favorite tires: 1. Bridgestone Hypersport S20 2. Pilot Road 2 3. Pilot Power 2 The S20 is bar none the stickiest tire I've run, especially in the rain, but it wears quickly (4K). I haven't tried the Pilot Road 3, but...

Anyone have any experience on the Honda Interceptor 800? I'm lusting...

I agree, I own both and my VFR has nearly 50K miles and I can tell it feels more refined. I know the suspension feels much better, but there are lots of little things too (outside temp, 4 headlights, aluminum frame, single-sided swing arm, etc...). There is a reason why a new VFR sells for...

Anyone have any experience on the Honda Interceptor 800? I'm lusting...

They do have a lot of similarities, but power is definitely not one of them. It's much more torquey and pulls very hard when the VTEC kicks in at 7K. 114HP > 78HP The VFR feels longer, so I feel a bit more stretched out. The OEM seat is only slightly more comfortable on the VFR, but both...

    Passing down the 6R!

Congratulations, I'm actually shopping for Triumph right now. I'm keeping my 6R for now, but I'm selling my interceptor, so I can buy a Sprint ST (3rd Gen 05-10).

Do you keep you're Registration & Ins on the bike or on you're person?

I keep both in a ziploc in my tank bag (aka man purse). That way I always have them with me and they aren't on the bike when I'm not on it.

anybody here drink beer, what ya drankin ?

 My light drinking beers are Stella or Coors light (if it's hot out). I typically drink stouts, or wheat beers (dunkels, wits, or hefs) though. Not really a fan of IPA's or any other bitter beers. I've been brewing beers and distilling (shhh!) for a couple years and make one hell...

    Biggest repair/mod blunders

Another oil change mishap... I seem to have a lot of them. I was changing the oil in my Dodge with a Cummins for the first time. I had about a 2 gallon catch pan, but soon learned that the engine holds over 4 gallons of oil! Doh! :rtfm: Don't tell the EPA, but that looked like a Valdez...

    Biggest repair/mod blunders

Why, are you divorced now?!? LMAO  I can't count how many times I've added new oil during an oil change and left the drain plug out. Not necessarily a blunder on my part, but definitely a major PITA. I once did a whole motor and transmission swap in my 540i BMW only to find out...

    Cycle Gear

I agree, prices are great, and service and selection is excellent. I bought some heated gear (in Lynnwood, WA) there and the extra large glove inserts don't fit so I brought them back, but unfortunately they were out of the large size that I needed, and they've called me twice to let me know...

    Photoshop Template for Graphics

I don't think I have an reflective vinyl in stock, but there is no reason I couldn't get some. We ended up with a bunch of different vinyl, laminates and other materials from another company that went under, but we don't have an inventory of it, so unfortunately I don't even know what we have.
