Get a set of sport bike tie downs, your dealer will have them, about $25. They slide onto your handlebars and give you a place to connect ratchet ties without them touching your bike. I recently purchased my bike about 2 months ago and trailered it 900 miles with just them and a ratchet tie...

I had the same problem the first few days of riding this bike. I learned that I was leaning to much on the handle bars. Know I can ride for hours without any problem.

$6190 OTD, Paid $82 for 2yr registration. didn't have to pay sales tax since I'm in the military.

I bought mine at I75 Yamaha just south of Lexington KY. If you are anywhere close it would be worth the deal. The price out the door from cycletrader $6190, you register and title it and final price would be about $6700 based on 7% sales tax.

Congrats all, I finally got the $$ together and purchased mine 2 weeks ago. I absolutely love it! This is my first streetbike and after putting the first 600 miles on it I wish I's bought a bike years ago. I also looked at the 650r, but decided on the blue FZ6R.
