I have the factory frame sliders. I took a harsh down a week ago dodging a deer. The slider took 100% of the fall. (well 99 cause the fron tire was rashed just a little) Just food for thought. They are ugly but damn they work....
:) I am thinking about givin the bike to the old lady and getting a FZ1. I want to put the gearing back to stock. Not really sure when I want to do this. Really I just want to see if anyone is interested. I gave the stockers to driven to make some gears. Its about a 100 upgrade. If you're...
Title says it all. I lost my keys in a move. I didn't save the key plate. So here are my options. Take the ignition off and take it to the dealer to make a key or call a locksmith to come out and make a key. Moral of the story is keep the freaking key code safe! Also FAIL!
I have a -1 +2 set up on mine. I love it. Around town I would say the Mpg is better. As for on the road. I don't speed (that bad) so 85 is my max. It still gets 38-42 (that's a civic hybrid).
Tax time is here! I am going to upgrade the bike with some new shoes and a new chain. I am thinking Michelin Pilot Power's. I am probably going with a 170 in the rear. As for the chain I am going with a Did x-ring chain. Now the only question I have about that is how many links is the...
I do believe the odometer is ran off of the same sensor the speedometer is ran off of. If this is true then mine is factory accurate. I installed a speedohealer same day as the sprockets then did the math from the gearing change and adjusted the speedo 10.1% this set it back to really close to...
So just doing the math I come up with a 10.1% speedometer error from the gearing I have now to stock. I calibrated the yellowbox to that but it still feels off. I guess it is more set to "stock", I guess the real question is how far off is stock? Any body? Bueler?
Yes, it really is. Just putting around town I am getting better. I would guess its because the bike doesn't lug around any more. It pulls its own weight better. It just keeps you off the throttle.
I guess we all like seeing you around on here :banghead: and don't want to see you die in a horrible bike wreck. There is not enough bike to handle a turbo. F*&k it I'm all for it, go nuts. Live life fast.
Yes I did. I had to adjust the speedo by about 12%. Oh well it runs like a champ; I would say that the MPG around town is better. On the highway . . . well its like running a civic wide out; you tell me. :tard:
