You may have been doing this with a warm engine, and if so, disregard.
One of the worst things you can do for your bike (or car, or any lubricated motor) is rev the engine while cold.
Love the TBR sound.
I've seen the light and have a sedici learher jacket now for street use which I picked up on sale at cycle gear. Excellent jacket and great price and I feel like my skin stands a chance. I also wear Kevlar reinforced jeans.
I have that same tailbag. I need to repair the elastic material as it has started coming apart at the seam. It does expand nicely to hold a lot of stuff and zips down out of the way when empty.
CycleGear has a small magnetic tank bag. I paid $29 for mine and am well pleased with it.

Puig Pro Frame Sliders - FAILED!
Went for a quick ride to top off my fuel today for track day tomorrow (and just to get a quick ride in). When I got back, I looked at my bike and there was a little something missing... my left side slider. Whaaaa?
No impact; no damage anywhere at all. The...
Amazon.com: Neiko 10074A Metric MM Pro-Grade Allen Hex Bit Socket, 13-Piece: Home Improvement
Loooove my metric hex sockets... The are sold at the auto parts chains too. You only need three... Speaking of which I think I'll write up a recommended tool list for our bike.
That's how I do it. I think it could be an issue if you fill up, live a block from the gas station, and the temperature goes up a lot. Even then it will just vent out the overflow onto the ground by the kick stand.
Archerzz did a video on YouTube gassin up this way.

Nice SMIDSY avoidance.
Check this link out for how to HELP avoid that scenario. Great job avoiding the accident and not going over. Looked like if you stayed locked up another half second you would be going down to the left.

Depends on the attachment point. Attach to the permanent side and there's no issue. Best be would be to use a split 3 wire harness with factory connectors so you could remove anything whenever you want. My mirrors were really distracting on the track even though they were taped. I'm going to...
Well buzz we're going to cross disagree here. Rear then front is not advised by any expert, MSF, riding school, or elsewhere. You're just wasting time getting to the front brake which is where all the stopping power is. When you slow down, the weight shifts forward. Where the weight goes is...
I would suggest using the front brake only. You will find it is much much more effective and will scrub speed quickly and much more safely. What if you underestimate a turn and go in really hot? Rear brake really hard? Yikes, no! Get in the habit that your front brake is 95-100% what you...
Track day with RideSmart, they said, and I agree: I think it was 60-0.
Rear brake only - 250 feet or something like that
Front brake only - 151 feet
Front plus rear - 146 feet.
My experience, plus the above = on a sportbike, the rear doesn't add much value and increases risk. There is so...

Is there a particular compatibility of levers for our bike, say an FZ1 or R6 or off the wall other bike? I don't want eBay/china levers. Thinking about the speed metal foldable / adjustable (which are probably made in china too lol) from Cyclegear (bogo...
