Thanks guys
It's a 2012 m109r
Pick it up about a month ago with 2700kms on the clock
Very smooth and powerful but nowhere near as nimble as the fz6r
350kg of muscle needs a bit of effort to push around corners but am slowly adapting to it
I'm planning a 3 week 15000k trip for later this year...
Hi all
Haven't been on here for a while
After long late night garage discussions myself and the black and gold beauty have gone separate ways
She now lives with a younger bloke who just got his license
He is as much in love with her as I was so good luck to them both
Of course I had...
Why would want to do that mate?
You are on full license ,you can ride whatever you want if the bike is registered as lams it doesn't mean you have to be on restrictions to ride it.
if you are happy with it as a full powered 600 keep it as it is. In the future if you decide to upgrade you can...
My God we getting F@#^%D sideways in this country (Australia that is) when it comes to bike pricing .
$28,000 OTD for a brand new one. :wtfgun:

i did the air box mod yesterday .:wav:
It was the first time i lifted my tank and opened the air box and i was quite baffled when i saw the small holes on the side of the frame from where the engine is supposed to draw air from .:wtfgun:
It is even worse when you consider that those holes...
also another comment about Australia is that there are barely any FZ6R's around I have yet to see another one, I walk down the street at my work and its littered with Ninja 250's or 650's very tempting to ride to work and put the FZ6R in the middle of the Ninja's.
I do it all the time (park...
Done the air box mod ,not the full Marthy.
Not game enough to cut the whole bottom of the airbox :o
Bike seems to run Ok going for a ride tonight to see if any different
LOL
The Ausie spec FZ6r comes with hazard lights hence the button on the left control unit.
The power crystal it's actually a functioning parking light controlled by the ignition key.
i'm sure you all knew that but i thought i rub it in anyway :p

When i ordered mine they came with a free pair of grips ,i never installed the grips though cause their colour matching on gold is not the best.
The levers are pretty good for what i paid (au $89 posted if i remember...
