I believe it refers to the roller coaster style safety bar, in most situations I think I'd prefer to come loose rather than go wherever a 1300lb machine is headed.
Especially on a trike, seems like they'd be good at sliding upside down or flipping around in a worst case scenario :surrender:
Car tire on the bike and from what I've heard the laneway for the Boss Hoss dealership is black with all the burnt rubber.
Most things get improved when you stick a Corvette engine in them, motorcycles, aircraft, many other cars...mmmm :)
ahaha, I am thoroughly embarrassed. Perhaps I'm not quite as far ahead as I had hoped :rolleyes: It's worse because one of my biggest pet peeves is the their/there/they're and to/too/two battle.
I'm definitely fortunate in that I come from a family that has been involved in aviation...
I've just started in aviation
This semester is english (how to right an essay), surprisingly basic math, and lots of ground school. Unfortunately we've had all our support staff on strike across the province, which includes our mechanics so we haven't been able to fly.
However, they...
The difference is all in the Butt Dyno. Some people may "feel" a difference but for average riding there is going to be very little difference in performance as well as in mileage. Certainly doesn't make enough difference to pay extra.
Also if you are at a pump that serves the multiple octanes...
There's another video somewhere of a Litrebike racing a Nissan GT-R. The bike was faster to take off in the straights but the Nissan was faster in the twisties.
The bike loses time when it has to get vertical before leaning to the other side.
fair enough, an ideal area to use the "meet me in the middle" bit ;)
apart from that as long as it still looks to be in good shape, runs good, etc, have fun and let us know how it goes!
You can give him the life story about how you're a little strapped for cash and would he be willing to part with the bike for $4200 (you can't be singing the bike's praises while you do this, if he knows you want it you're SOL). He probably won't say no straight out, maybe something along the...
I always love seeing the shined tires on bikes or any vehicle really. people will wash and polish and maybe even wax a bike to make it look pretty, but some of the cleanest bikes i've seen are the ones with shined tires. Usually (READ USUALLY) indicates someone who cares about their machine...
The VFR is fairly aggressive and the seat, while well designed, is on the firm side (on a side note it is a 1200). Personally I am a fan of the ST1300. It is a beautifully built bike, very nicely balanced and very comfortable. It is fairly easy to maneuver (relatively speaking) and there are...
Maybe our bugs are just worse up here in the great white north but I couldn't imagine riding anywhere around here with the lack of gear some feel is appropriate. I've gone out only to have my visor get covered in a fine mosquito paste, or taken junebugs/moths/dragonflys/bees that hit like...
Looking at the title I thought this was going to be a post on aging!
I guess that's what I get for being awake and on the forums at this time of night.
I apologise though, as I don't have anything useful to add. I don't have any of the bags as I'm always 2-up so I can just put...
Another option is to not try and teach them the whole leaning thing (assuming you've been providing instruction). If you instruct them to just try and sit straight in the corners (straight as alined with the bike, NOT perpindicular to the ground) you will hopefully maintain constant input from...
