    Windscreen for XJ6N

Noone? This looks similar, but the mounting arrangement is different... I think... http://pictures2.autotrader.co.uk/imgser-uk/servlet/media?id=1518754152

    Windscreen for XJ6N

Guys, After scouring the forums and the internet, I've failed to find something that I know I have found before... I saw a windscreen for the naked XJ6 that was mounted on arms connected to the bars. It was styled to match the transformer headlight exactly and seemed to be a perfect next...

My new FZ6R will be here in 2 days!

Plus, the UK version, the XJ6... is recommended as a good starter bike as it's so forgiving... I wonder what it is about the above mentioned testosterone and some fairings that makes the FZ6R so different! Welcome to the forum :) The XJ6 is my first bike and I'm loving it!

    One more Custom FE…sorry

Wow, did you draw this in CAD? Could we get a copy of the drawing so we can blatantly rip off your design and take it to our local water jet company too? I'm very impressed with this FE, it looks as professional as all of the ones I've seen on the market. Fantastic job :)

    Oxford Hot Grips

They were free :) I've still not managed to get it sorted, but I've not been riding as it's raining too much and it's much more appealing to get in the car to go to work in the morning!!! Pics up as soon as it's done!

    fz6r to xj6

There's a post somewhere back in the day where the mounting supports have been examined... I think it turned out that they didn't fit...

    fz6r to xj6

It seems that their complex naming system across the world is biting us again... I think I've got it sorted, if anyone could correct or confirm the below, I'd be grateful: USA: FZ6R - Fully faired UK: XJ6 (sometimes referred to as XJ6N) - Naked XJ6 Diversion - Half Faired Aus...

    Oxford Hot Grips

Gah, didn't use the search function properly :) Consider me quietly reprimanded :) Thanks for the info, it seems I should be able to sort this at the weekend.... I think my controller may be mounted behind the panels, just as it's going to look ugly out on show and I shouldn't really be...

    Oxford Hot Grips

So, it's cold over here nowadays and I'm wanting some warm hands! I've been donated some new Oxford Hot Grips and have a couple of questions for anyone that might have installed these, or something like them: Oxford Products The generic mounting bracket that comes with the unit doesn't...

    HAHAHA.....Transformers!

I really wanted to do this to mine (Think it would look even cooler on the naked version), until I realised that we have a light in there already and our switch is already used as the hazard lights!

    Scottoiler

Mine's almost horizontal under the seat, right at the back, almost under the handles (?) that the passenger grips.... It's a very neat job, done by the guys I bought it from, but as you say, it should be near upright and this isn't, which means it's very slow, even when fully open...

    Buying new camera not video

I bought a Canon IXUS 870 IS here in the UK last year, it's only a compact camera, but the pictures are amazing, it was recommended to me by a professional photographer... The US equivalent is a Powershot, I know mine is now obsolete, but I'm sure there's a decent equivalent out there now...

Looking for pics of headlight assembly/mount.

OK, so, without knowing what you want these for, I've just taken a guess and taken a few photos to start off with. I've circled the mounts in red, as there's a lot of junk behind there :) If you let me know specifics of what you need, I can go take some more easy enough.

Looking for pics of headlight assembly/mount.

Happy to do this for you, I have both my bike and a digital camera with me at work. Unfortunately, I'm not exactly sure what you need to see. I won't be able to remove anything anytime soon though :)

    Vibrating at 6k-7k revs

Another silly question :) My bike seems to have a spot between 6k and 7k revs where I can feel a vibration, particularly through the pegs. Above this, no worries, no more vibration than normal, same for below. Yet between, it feels... rough. Any ideas what this might be? It's going in for...
