    Yamaha FZ6R Review

I've got 6000 km's on my baby, and the first and second is still clunky. Thereafter, though, pretty smooth.

So, how reliable is the Neutral light?

Nope - no false neutrals here either.

    Puig Racing Windshield

Search the site - there is a thread about the XJ6 screen not fitting the FZ6R's. I've just ordered the Yamaha double bubble myself.

    Yamaha Windscreen

Yamaha SA sells the FZ6R in SA. However, getting accessories. sucks!! I had to order my frame sliders from the US, (T-Rex group buy), as our market it pretty small, and very few FZ6R's have sold here. Awsome bike, imo.

    Yamaha Windscreen

Howdy CGENGO. I'm 5'8" as well. In your opinion, would you go back to the stock at all, or is the double bubble a better screen?

Hello dude - Welcome. From what I've seen, it's mostly US, Canadian and the odd South African. Most likely because we've got the FZ6R sold in our countries, as opposed to the XJ6 version. Welcome anyway.

Be Careful out There on the Highways

In SA we are preparing for the soccer world cup next year. As a result, the roads infrastructure is being upgraded all over the place. One gloomy and wet winter's morning, about 1 month after having started riding, I took my normal exit from the highway, and, taking the curve, got suprised by...

how many years have you ridin for ?

Started late July this year - now I only use my car on Saturdays if my son and I need to go somewhere - commute in to work daily on the 6R. When I got the bike, we still had a month or so of winter left, and I rode thru it, reckoning that if I could handle riding in the wet and windy weather...

    FZ6R or Suzuki Gladius?

Pyrocpu - you seem to have done your homework on the technical and aesthetic bits. I did the same, as this is my first bike, and I wanted to make sure that I would not buy in haste and be dissatisfied. After all my homework, my choice was between the FZ6R and the GSX650F - both had great pro's...
