Hello From Snow Filled WI

Well guys, here's the bikes I'm looking at:

1.) New 2012 at the dealer
$6500
New 2012 w/ no miles, not much else to say about it

Pros: I liked this one the best. I like the graphics, black frame and forks. A new, unmolested piece of machinery
Cons: The price tag (although It seems priced well for my area)

2.) 2009 at the dealer
$5500
Looks in pretty good shape
Tires are worn – will last this summer at most
Already has nice FE, and flush mounts, otherwise stock
6700mi

Pros: Saves me $1000 bucks, some of the mods I’d want are done.
Cons: Needs tires, I like the ’12 graphics better, is $1000 (15%) savings worth it

3.) 2009 private seller
$4600
Moderate condition
Tires are worn – will last this summer at most
Has a FE, and flush mounts, M4 Exhaust, a flaming skull tank protector, and some fancy gas cap (the last two are ssnot really my style)
6400mi

Pros: Low cost bike, the mods are done
Cons: Worth the price but not a great deal, some of the mods look hacked together, the M4 exhaust is loud (is the TBR this loud?)

Well, my insurance is turning out to be a issue and makes no sense. I asked to compare a few that I had considered with my current 250 (about $150yr) in attempt to understand what is going on, here's what I got:

2012 Yamaha FZ6R +82.55
2002 Honda CBR F4i +32.93
2009 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R +41.35
2011 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 +98.30

 I don't even know what to say...

Worked out a deal today and put money down on the 2012. I'm in the middle of refinancing my house, so might be a couple weeks before I can pick it up. The bank has been analyzing my funds with a microscope, so I don't want to raise a red flag at this point. The roads still have salt and snow on them anyway, so it's not too big of a deal.

Can't wait to get it out for the first ride
