It's a slow process for me. Heat wave has been severely limiting my riding time. Not many miles on the bike yet (I mean less than 100!) so not comfortable going just anywhere. Still stalling uphill at stoplights and other stuff telling me I need to get out more. Next week is supposed to be cooler so hopefully I'll be able to ride to work every day. How's it coming along Enjarin? I know you just recently passed the msf and I don't want to rush ya at all or take you out of your comfort zone I'm just curious if you're becoming more comfortable on the road? If we did this on the great river road that is a pretty simple ride with just nice scenery so if you're getting better and feel up to trying I think you'd be fine bro
The next calendar search is Thursday. I'll be going to that. I do some photography and that will definitely be fun. Took some pics out there two weekends ago of a stunt rider exhibition.Sat would be the best for a ride. I could get up that way around 6 or 7 pm for a bike night maybe. I'm about 30 min south of st. louis. Have heard adds on radio about big st. charles motorsports calender search. I think one is coming up soon.
Actually it was a pretty fun bike minus the too soft fork springs. It was easy to toss around, hardly used any fuel, and very simple. How did you like the gs500f as a starter bike?
Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forums man. I live in collinsville and I'm always lookin for someone to ride with. If you ever wanna meet up some time and go for a ride just let me know. I just wish this damn heat would go away cause its not much fun riding right now lol.
Where was everyone when I lived down there and had my 6r? I lived 10 min north of Edwardsville until 2 years ago.Congrats on the new purchase. I purchased my black fz6r back in April. I'm located in Glen Carbon and I'm always looking to ride with people in the area. I wish it would cool down too.
Maybe shoot for Sunday, August 12? From there on I have weekend time open.If people are still going for a weekend ride then I'm free on the weekend in 2 or 3 weeks.
Warm has been an understatement for the past month.Aw man... I'm orginally from St. Louis. Manchester area. But I haven't been back there in a while. Stupid work. Enjoy the warm summer on the new ride enough for me, too.
