Been lurking for a little while..finally took time to join. Picked up a new 2010 6R for under invoice few weeks ago. This is my second street cycle. Started on a 09 GS500f last summer after taking the MSF course.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! :cheer:

Enjoy the new bike and welcome.

As requested. What I did ride, and what I ride now. Both dead stock minus a sprocket change on the last.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forums man. I live in collinsville and I'm always lookin for someone to ride with. If you ever wanna meet up some time and go for a ride just let me know. I just wish this damn heat would go away cause its not much fun riding right now lol.

Congrats on the new purchase. I purchased my black fz6r back in April. I'm located in Glen Carbon and I'm always looking to ride with people in the area. I wish it would cool down too.

Nice we can get all three of us together and ride somewhere! If you guys are interested I'd definitely be down for it. My buddy and his girlfriend are gonna buy a bike soon but right now I don't really have anyone else that rides near me. Let me know what ya guys think

Would be nice to meet up with St.Louis area FZ6R riders @ a bike night. Nothing ever posted in Midwest social group. Good choice with the white.

Thanks guys. A group ride is a great idea. I have yet to see any other 6Rs on the street around here. I have Harley friends but its just not the same. A spot my car club meets occasionally is at the BP station(used to be the Pit Stop) at 94/367 junction. Could ride up thru Alton and up the river road, stop for edible consumption in Grafton maybe. Plenty of straights for wot application.
I agree, the heat sucks. Having to resort to 6am or 11pm riding.

Ok there is enough interest it seems for several people to do it so let's get something rolling in a couple weeks. When is a good time and day for most people? Most likely a Saturday I'm sure because I work Monday through Friday as do most of us I'm sure but I'm open to any ideas!

How's it coming along Enjarin? I know you just recently passed the msf and I don't want to rush ya at all or take you out of your comfort zone I'm just curious if you're becoming more comfortable on the road? If we did this on the great river road that is a pretty simple ride with just nice scenery so if you're getting better and feel up to trying I think you'd be fine bro
