Hope you're already on the mend (although sounds like you're more worried about the bike than yourself -- which usually indicates you're relatively intact)...

Everything on the bike, and the bike itself, are replaceable.

thanks everybody im banged up got scratches on legs had helmet and jacket on so wasnt to bad i rear ended a car on the freeway because of a sudden braking and flipped over my bike and landed on the car and rolled off got up quickly to get the bike up ....felt so unreal...had a big dent in the tank from pelvis hitting the tank had a pelvic fracture really sore head wasnt to bad...adrenaline was racing so didnt feel much...bike front end was pretty messed up front wheel got pushed back into fairings ....will post pics when i pick it up from tow yard....

Good to hear that you're okay for the most part. Bumps and bruises and even breaks eventually heal. Sucks about your bike, but you know it could have been much worse. I had a close call with a douche cager the other night coming home from my son's football practice. The SUV directly across from me stopped and waited for me to come to a complete stop before moving. No cars at all in the other two directions. I go to make the left on my road right after he clears the intersection and the cager behind him goes right behind him. He goes without stopping at all in the same direction I was heading. I wasn't moving fast and stopped without incident, but got on his ass because him and his passengers thought it was funny. I was hoping he'd pull over. I was fuming!!! Good thing I wasn't carrying. I consider trying to hit me assault with a deadly weapon. Good luck on your recovery bro!
